Drothy to run her kain Burie
business.

"I want to continue developing
my deep interest in arts &
crafts."

She believes that her business of kain
Burie plays an important role to reserve &
preserve the local heritage of arts & crafts
especially the uniqueness of Iban clothing
culture.

Apart from that. she would love for younger generations to inherit her
skills in making kain Burie as a way to keep preserving the beautiful &
unique culture of Iban people. Thus, she opens her business of kain
Burie to achieve the goal. As one who is skilled in making kain Burie, she
aims to keep being creative & innovative in improving the quality of her
products.

easy task. One of my secret to success is
by marketing my business information."

Mdm. Drothy stated that her reason
to success is the way of how she
markets her kain Burie business using
online platforms. She spread about
the services offered by her business
by using the ability of 'viral' of online
platforms in the 21st century.

Other than that, she protects her
quality of products & services to
ensure that she catches up with
competition of other fabric
businesses. In result, she gets the
advantage of producing different
pattern designs on her own kain

mentioned that she does not face any
huge obstacles since the start of her
kain Burie business. Though her
method to keep being motivated is by
ensuring that she does not let herself
be in a comfortable zone despite that
she is a successful entrepreneur.
