RENA: Apathy

The 6th issue of RENA Magazine, the first of two in our overarching story line of the Birth of a Renaissance for the 2024-2025 academic year. <br>These magazines are meant to commentate on the cyclical nature of what social contexts lead to a Renaissance. This issue, titled Apathy, explores the issues resulting in and from social indifference. Corruption represents ignorance, how we ignore the obvious cracks in a supposedly perfect facade. Acquiescence is the first stage of confrontation, an aversion to accepting new conditions. Lamentation shows fear, a rapid emotional dampening as you relinquish. Distress is a point of struggle, regression back to the past for comfort. Desperation is all consuming, but a glimmer of hope will always remain.
