Faith life
Assalamu Alaikum,
Knowledge is more important than wealth
and property. No wonder, knowledge is
among the important things which Allah
(SWT) directed Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH) to pray that he will be granted
more of it. Allah (SWT) says in the Holy
Qur’an: “And say: My Lord, increase me in
knowledge.” (Qur’an 20:114)
Teaching others is one of the good deeds
that will get us great rewards even after
death. Whoever leaves behind beneficial
knowledge will get rewards as long as
people are still getting benefits from his
knowledge. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
said: “When a man dies all his deeds come
to an end except for three: an ongoing charity,
beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who
prays for him.” (Bukhari)
We ask Allah SWT to grant us the
beneficial knowledge

TRIP
ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL UMRAH TRIP TO MECCA & MADINA
Joining members from all corners of the Ummah in this sacred journey to connect more deeply to Allah (swt).
Thirteen Grade 12 students, joined
by 42 members of the school and
the larger community participated
in this 5th annual Umrah trip.
The trip began with a visit to the
second holiest masjid in Islam,
Masjid Al Nabawi in Al Madinah
Al Munawara. In Madinah, the
group visited the grave of prophet
Muhammad (PBUH). They toured
the mountain of Uhud, Al-baqii
cemetery, and other significant
sites. From Madinah, the group
traveled to Mecca for the rituals of
Umrah, followed by visits to several
important sites around Mecca,
including Mina, Arafa, Muzdalifa,
and Ghar Hiraa. The trip was life
changing and inspirational, an
experience that those who joined
will not soon forget.

raised over $1800! With a portion of the funds, the
students supplied a lunch to over 250 people in need
