Overgrown Fish

The fish in the garden pond was
swimming happily.

"This fish is too big for the pond
now. Good for us to make a fish
curry" said grandfather.

Grandfather picked out the fish
and put it into a basin of water
and went into the kitchen.

Dasun was sad about the fish.
He threw away the kitchen
knife.

His mother searched for the
kitchen knife to cut the fish.

Dasun took the fish and threw it
into the stream behind the house.

The fish swam away happily
spreading its fins.

Dasun sang with joy for saving
the life of the fish.
