DENTAL CLINIC RENOVATION
The Village Health Center recently renovated the
James P. Vernetti, DDS Dental Clinic to provide
a calming and professional environment for
patients with increased patient privacy, new
state-of-the-art equipment, cabinetry,
flooring and lighting.
Soothing color schemes and artwork portray
colorful, inviting, and hopeful images. New
center consoles between each dental station
allow for a relaxed service experience to
encourage clients to continue regular dental
care with us. The consoles also provide
additional storage space for dental equipment.
We are immensely grateful to Ron and Betsy
Vernetti and the Health Resources & Services
Administration (HRSA)* for providing the funding
needed to renovate and modernize this critical
space within the Village Health Center.

EXPANDING BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
Father Joe’s Villages is expanding our behavioral
health programs to meet the growing need we
see on our streets every day.
Expansion in 2022 will include renovation and
expansion of our ATEC (Addiction Treatment
& Education Center), and behavioral health
facilities, which are both part of the Village
Health Center. These changes will allow our
professionals to serve more clients. Additionally,
we are adding behavioral health clinicians
to our Street Health team to provide more
comprehensive medical care to our unsheltered
neighbors on city streets.
RENOVATION OF THE FRANKLIN ANTONIO
PUBLIC LUNCH DINING ROOM
With the help of donor support, we are excited to
be making capital improvements to the dining room
and kitchen in the Paul Mirabile Center, where the
Franklin Antonio Public Lunch Program is offered daily.
Renovations include new flooring, lighting, fixtures, paint
and other improvements to provide a dignified dining
experience to those in need of warm, nutritious meals.
We are immensely grateful to generous donors and
organizations that contributed to renovations and
updates in our Franklin Antonio Public Lunch Program
Dining Room. These include Allan and Peggy Keck
and the TriMark R.W. Smith company, for providing
industry-standard restaurant equipment and funding
so critical to the meals we serve, along with the Ellen
Browning Scripps Foundation, for a generous grant to
this project. Additionally, thank you to contributors to
the Hope Lives Here campaign, which has provided vital
funding to this needed renovation.
