in the Board Room of the Noble Center, located at 1125 W. Lake Avenue, unless otherwise

Fall French Market in the Park

The flavor of a French Market is the theme for this autumn event, a
partner to the annual Spring Market on Moss, with antiques, art, plants
and herbs, vintage finds, furniture, food and more. Music and treats in

the traditions of France, sweet and savory, will be on hand.
A creative community of local artists, craftsmen, collectors and foodies
all come together to bring the charm and excitement of a French Flea
Market to the Luthy Botanical Garden, a beautiful setting where history
and tradition go back for generations. Stroll the gardens, sample the

treats and shop local from the finest artisans in the area.

Installment Billing Camp Refund Policy

Fees-R/NR: $120/$130 per week (Week 5: $96/$104 due to the holiday)
Camp hours: 8:30 am-3:30pm
Extended Care: 6:45-8:30am, 3:30-5:30pm (included in fee)
Camp is back in Glen Oak Park! Games, sports, fishing, swimming and special trips keep the summer fun coming.
Glen Oak Park is a great place for camp with the zoo, children's museum, gardens, lagoon, sports fields and
4 playgrounds, and we use them all! Light breakfast and lunch is provided. Program hours are from 8:30am to
4:00pm, but don't worry, extended care in the morning and afternoon is included in the camp fee.

Our program provides a wide variety of activities including: playing in our indoor AquaPlex, climbing our 30 foot rock
wall; arts and crafts; health and fitness, and sports activities in our climate controlled arena. In addition, we access the
Rolling River Playground, the RiverFront biking/walking trail, and much more. Counselors are trained in leadership,
safety procedures, behavior management, activities and supervisory skills. Children will be grouped according to age
in 5 different groups at camp. Campers should bring their own *lunch, swimsuit and towel on a daily basis and should
always wear gym shoes. Drinks and snacks will be provided in the afternoon. All weekly fieldtrips are included in the
price of the weekly fee. Sign up early as spots are limited to the first 88 children.

Spend an exciting week exploring animals across the globe, learning about
the various habitats they live in and the fantastic adaptations that help them
survive.

Each weekly program includes: animal encounters, science activities, crafts,
games, and more.

Our Zoo Camp sessions are designed to meet the needs, interests and
expectations appropriate to the developmental stage of campers at a
particular grade level, so it is important that these guidelines are followed.
Please do not request to enroll children in other grade categories.

Registration begins March 1.
• Programs will fill quickly and are on a first come, first served basis.
• Registration fees are non-refundable and are required at time of

registration.
• Peoria Zoo reserves the right to cancel programs with insufficient

Ancient Oaks Day Camp is all about having fun and educational experiences in the great outdoors. Weekly themes
reflect on a variety of fun events and plenty of hands-on activities. Located on 320 acres, Sommer Park consists of
woods, open fields, hiking trails, ponds and a neighborhood park.

Ancient Oaks Day Camp is the best place to be this summer as we celebrate our 48th season of memories for children
and adults. Our weekly hotdog/s’more roast and singing tree held every Friday is a fun tradition for campers!

Welcome to the new and improved Proctor Summer Fun Academy Camp! This year is going to be an exciting one.
Children will experience fun, adventure, and excitement in an atmosphere of safety and inclusion for everyone. We
are now offering 5 two-week sessions instead of 2 four-week sessions. This gives you the opportunity to choose from
ten action packed weeks of sports of all sorts, performing arts and entertainment, and culinary lessons, just to name
a few.

What sets Proctor Fun Academy apart from the rest is the knowledge children will learn in the classroom. For
example, in addition to ice-skating, students will make ice cream, and also learn what happens during an ice age!
Children are grouped according to age and gender and are provided lunch and a snack each day. Camp hours
include extended care to increase the availability to partake in our camp and meet the needs of our community.
Scholarships are available for those who qualify. There is also an optional free lunch program included in the fee.

July 23-27 ICE Age: Brrrr! An ice age has taken over Proctor Center. This session of camp
is going to be a cold one. We will be doing many experiments with ice, like

an Ice Age. Classroom topics will include hibernating animals, winter, colds and
July 30-Aug 3 flus (germs) and more!

& Aug 6-10 Culinary 101: Do you enjoy baking goodies? What about homemade pizza?
Well this session of camp is dedicated to the junior chefs in the world. From
designing your own aprons to making your own cookbooks, Session 4 will be a
tasty one. Classroom topics include healthy habits, gardening, food safety, and
more!

Are you considered a "tween" because you are too old for summer camp but too young to work? Well, this is the
camp for you! Proctor Center, in conjunction with the Summer Fun Academy will help ages 14-15 prepare for high
school, college, and the real world. We will visit local colleges, have volunteer opportunities, and help prepare for
real-life experiences. You can still attend the Friday field trips. There is also an optional free lunch program included
in the fee.

The Peoria PlayHouse is a hands-on, interactive children’s museum featuring six exhibits
allowing children to play, imagine, create, and explore. Splash in the water table, mold
with kinetic sand, send balls through wind tubes, make your own constructions in Real
Tools, and more!

Built by the Junior League of Peoria, in collaboration with Peoria Park District and
Peoria Zoological Society, the Peoria PlayHouse is a hands-on, interactive children’s
museum. It is located in the historic Glen Oak Park Pavilion building within Glen Oak
Park, adjacent to Peoria Zoo and near Luthy Botanical Garden, providing a full-day
destination for families in our region.
