DESIblitz Film Fusion is a specialised film festival produced by the
multi-award-winning web publication DESIblitz.com.


The inaugural DESIblitz Film Fusion festival is a 10-day event with
10+ screenings. A first of its kind, the festival focuses on
promoting and elevating Punjabi, Pakistani and Sports films. In
addition, the festival features specially selected UK and world
films.


The ethos of the festival is to increase awareness of films related
to specific Desi storylines that need their narratives unveiled and
told to new and existing audiences.



The film festival would not have been possible without the
fantastic support of BFI, Film Hub Midlands and The National
Lottery.


Films will be shown at two live venues: ‘ODEON Luxe Birmingham
Broadway Plaza’ and ‘MAC Birmingham: Midlands Arts Centre’.

The Film Fusion festival will be celebrating the exceptional talent of
the festival at its first awards event on the Closing Night Gala -
June 12, 2022 at the MAC (Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham),
following the final film of the festival.
