Unánime da Broa, a Viega-bred stallion from Portugal, is the most awarded
Lusitano and the only Recommended Stallion (APSL Reproductor Julie Alonzo
Recomendado) in the U.S. The high quality of Unánime is passed on to

The primary objectives and purposes of the International Andalusian
and Lusitano Horse Association are:

(1) to preserve, improve and maintain the purity of the blood of horses
of the Andalusian breed, which includes horses of the Spanish origin,
known as Caballo Pura Raza Española and/or of Portuguese origin,
known as Cavalo Puro Sangue Lusitano, or Raca Lusitano, and/or
of Spanish/Portuguese origin, and to promote the public interest in
the science of breeding Andalusian horses, and to foster, aid and
encourage the breeding, exhibition and promotion of this breed; and

(2) to advance the knowledge and education of the public and
Members about horses of the Andalusian breed and to promote the
acquisition and distribution of knowledge of the history, use and
standard, medical and other care and treatment, and propagation of
horses of the Andalusian breed.

agreed upon by vote of the Board of Directors or the membership shall
be considered official Association Policy. Any and all other issues,
statements, declarations and decisions expressed in any publication,

the closed Bocado/Carthusian line. His
dam is Zorzaleña V. Son JIM has been
predominantly a breeding stallion, first at the
famous Rancho Sol Del Pacifico and then for
Bueno Vida Ranch. He has also performed in
Las Vegas as well as with the Valitar Equine Show.
He is currently being prepared for the show ring
in 2014. His offspring have been predominantly
