Conclusion

4 Conclusion

 Chapter one previews the general information’s about the Psychological Rehabilitation Center and
its specification and its needs. The first chapter describe (Psychological Rehabilitation Center
Overview) and from that we get to know: The definition of Psychological Rehabilitation Center,
Definition of Resort, The difference between hospital and Psychological Rehabilitation Center, The
definition of resort rehabilitation center. And then it describes: first Historical Psychological
Rehabilitation Center, Stages of Psychological Rehabilitation Center, and Today Psychological
Rehabilitation Center. After that it shows the Sustainability in Psychological Rehabilitation Center,
Importance of sustainability in Rehabilitation Centers, Sustainable Design Principles and
characteristics in Psychological Rehabilitation Center, Sustainable materials and lighting and
ventilation in Psychological Rehabilitation center. Than it previews Smart technology in interiors,
Smart technology application in Psychological Rehabilitation Center and Smart technology system.
After this it describes the design theme in such places and speaks about the post-modern, bio-
mimicry and parametric design themes. In the last point of this chapter it previews the color
psychology effect on people in everyday life and color psychology in healthcare spaces and clinics.

 Chapter two provided three different case studies about Psychiatric Rehabilitation center in deferent
places in the world information’s about the functionality of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation center,
about the theme inside Psychiatric Rehabilitation center, about the sustainable and smart
technology in Psychiatric Rehabilitation centers and about the zoning and design programing inside
the Psychiatric Rehabilitation center also this chapter included one case study about resort to
understand the standers and the pointes that play big role in client comfort as well the color scheme,
theme, sustainable and smart solutions in this kind of places. Case study one was about (Psychiatric
Centre Friedrichshafen), case study two was about (HELIX, Forensic Psychiatric Clinic of
Stockholm), case study three was about (Psychiatric Center Of Bolzano) and case study four was
about (Mason Resort in Thailand).

 Chapter three provided the project that I used to design Project overview, layout plan, floors plan
for each level, organization chart for the place, project activities, space planning analyzes (matrix,
bubbling, zoning), project concept, design values, project design mood, project design theme,
project design color scheme (the color that I will use in this place) and project analyses for
materials, lighting and furniture.

Conclusion

4.1.1 Design issues and proposed solution.

Design Issues proposed solution

Main design as suffering from poor space Give better space planning for the zones inside the

organizing in the furniture project and give smooth solutions for the

circulation in the building.

Materials used was specific and their no verity in Apply more materials and give more choice and
it. new materials for the place.

The choice of colors in such places can be a bit A color scheme and theme should be selected

nerve wrecking. carefully to create a relaxing environment while

taking the focus of the patients.

Some Psychological Rehabilitation Centers did not Give the place more connect with nature to have
focus on designing the interior in which the visitor naturism touch and feeling
can feel living in nature and.

4.1.2 Recommendation for future research

My recommendations for anyone if he/she is trying to make research on this topic is first to start looking
for case study’s and research to have good amount on information’s before starting also to check the
country codes and regulations for health and hospitals and clinics and centers. Also to concentrate on the
physiological effects of the colors and the theme because we are dealing with people that have side effect
and mental problems. Also to concrete on space planning well and the zoning for each space.

An oak coffee table has been a classic in many homes
for years, so we’ve been so excited to put our own spin
on one. We’ve used premium quality English Oak (the
best in the world, in our mind!) to create this incredibly
warm, humble coffee table. A steel frame gives the
design a modern, stylish edge, while the clear coated
hairpins bring that mid-century modern twist. Put
succinctly: it’s a gem of a coffee table.
