Diocese of Laredo

St. Augustine High School
91st Anniversary

The Most Rev. James A. Tamayo invites alumni
and friends of St. Augustine High School to join
him in celebrating over 90 years of excellence
in Catholic education. Laredo’s only remaining
Catholic high school has educated generations of
Laredoans and Nuevo Laredoans alike and it is only
fitting that the two communities come together in
the commemoration of this 91st anniversary.
Mark your calendar for the “Knights
Gala” to be held on Saturday, January 26th at The
Barn of Los Patios, beginning with cocktails at
7:30 pm. An array of tantalizing dinner stations
will be catered by Laredo’s own, Pete Mims of
Border Foundry. The Groove Knight Band, a
renowned 8 pc ensemble from Austin, Texas, will
provide entertainment. General admission tickets
are $100 per person. The proceeds from this event
benefit St. Augustine’s tuition assistance and
scholarship program.
