Learners were introduced to an online tool
“mapmaker.nationalgeographic.org where they were
given small introduction aboout world map and briefly
discussed the places they were living before and reason
for moving to bangalore while the native students of
bangalore discussed their vaccation spots.

Learners spotted the locations in the map and
marked them with the reason for their
movement from the old place of living

Grade 2 Learners watched a video on the use of different
types of graph like Bar graph and line graph with examples

on number of different fruits liked by a group. they were
introduced to online chart making tool called

“livegap.com/charts ” where they selected type of graph for
a sample human migration data of certain countries . They

created graph by entering the data, added graph title,
subtitle and labelled the x-axis &, y-axis

PUSH . & PULL FACTORS

Learners analysed the Push and Pull factors of human
migration and related to the real time reasons as to why
people move to a new place. They used web tool called “”
and added the factors against the two boxes drawn
naming PUSH & PULL FACTORS. They also added pictures
related to the factors through the same web tool directly
from the web.

EARLY HUMAN VS MODERN HUMAN

Oakridgers briefly discussed about the concept of Venn diagram and
use of it. They reflected on their understanding about early humans Vs
Modern Humans using a venn diagram in kidspiration tool by adding
text and pictures, They also added similarities between them in the venn
diagram

COMPUTER PARTS

Learners watched a video on computer parts like
input devices output devices, storage devices and
their usages. Had a quiz on the learning from ABCYA
website. Students enjoyed the quiz by trying to
answer the questions and had good learning of new
terms related to computers and in categorizing
various devices. Followed by this engagement, they
also completed a Worksheet in Input and Output

devices.
