FOREWORD

Shakespeare said, I believe, “Brevity is the soul of wit” and Neil Gaiman said that short stories are
journeys you can make to the far side of the universe and still be back in time for dinner. In
addition, our students have abided by both these maxims and have produced some of the most
wonderful pieces replete with their own art, their own characters and some of the most wonderful
stories. I would like to congratulate the fantastic Home Room Teachers, on their stellar efforts to
elicit this work from their students; the students, for their perseverance on this task every single
day over many weeks; and to all our parents, who have supported our reading program and the
development of reading skills at home. I do hope you will enjoy this book as much as we have all
enjoyed creating it and this will occupy a proud place on your bookshelf for many years to come
and, God willing, just the first in the many literary successes in the lives of our students.

THE LION AND THE JAGUAR

Once upon a time in the deep, dark woods,
there lived a Jaguar called James. He lived with
his wife and son. Every day the Jaguar would go
out, to look for food for his family. James would
trap his prey and take it home. The family would
then have their dinner and anything left over
was kept for the next day.

In the afternoon, James would go down to the
river and meet his brother there, they would
swim in the water and wait for a group of peacocks, that came there every day! The Peacocks
would roam around the trees near the river, drink fresh water and look at their reflection in the
river. James and his brother would pounce on the nearest bird and that would be their family’s
dinner.

One day James came out of his den in a cave near the trees and spotted a lion in the distance, he
thought to himself, I have always wanted to be the king of the jungle, maybe this is my chance to
kill the lion and be the king of the jungle. He tried to pounce on the lion from behind, but the lion
put him down and asked him what he wanted. James the Jaguar said, “I want to be the king of the
jungle”, to which the lion said, “we will ask the animals of the jungle to vote for one of us to be
king”.

Two trees were selected kapok tree for the lion and palm tree for the jaguar. Each of the animals
in the jungle had to vote by scraping their name on a rock and placing it below the tree of the
particular animal they choose to be their king.

All the animals voted for the lion, as he was kind and helped and protected the animals in the
jungle. The jaguar, James was sad but he decided to go on with his life, as usual. He walked back
to his den and was happy being back with his family and jaguar friends.

WATER SPRING

Once there lived a creative man called Spring, He was so
creative that he used to make inventions every day! people
used to enjoy and be happy with Spring’s behaviour, he was
funny, kind, not harmful and never made anyone angry, but
there was this crazy scientist who was mad and hated people
smiling or enjoying his name was Bruce Bob or Dr. mad Bruce,
well, that’s what the city’s people called him.

One night he got so mad so he made this potion that, whoever
drank this will turn its form to a humongous monster made of
slime!!!, He said with an angry face.
But Bruce wasn’t satisfied with only that creation so he also
invented the machine that spawns an army of giants, now everyone in the city will be destroyed
ha ha ha, he said and laughed.

Meanwhile, Spring was having a great day coming up with new inventions, but there was
something coming.
When it was evening, the time when everyone enjoys, Bruce spawned the army of giants!!

The giants started to destroy all the happy moments, but Spring got angry because all the people
were sad and scared, he ran as quick as he can to his house to do something before his house gets
destroyed, he reached in time and started making armour with fists that were so strong that it can
take down the army of giants also he made strong water sprays coming out of the armour to fly
like iron man and spray water to the giants faces to get close to the giants and punch them down!

After that spring started flying so fast and he started to go round and round of the giant's army!
the giants got dizzy at that time Spring started to punch them so hard that the giants fell down
with a lot of force and couldn't get up! but the giants got so angry, so they tried to get up but they
couldn’t! They tried and tried with a lot of force, so much force that the giant's bodies became red
and then exploded like a bomb.
Everyone became happy and started saying thank you to Spring but Bruce got so angry and drank
the whole container of the potion and he turned into a humongous slime monster! Spring was
like,” Oh my god”.

The monster started to destroy everything! Spring tried to punch the monster but nothing
happened because it was made out of slime! The monster laughed and hit Spring so hard and he
got badly wounded!

Spring didn’t know what to do next, ha ha ha you can’t hit me I am made out of liquid! The monster
said, right then Spring got an idea “If I spray more water at him the slime will turn into the water”
Spring said, he flew fast and dodged all the monster’s attacks and sprayed all the water left and
the monster melted like ice cream! Bruce transformed back to his normal form and got arrested
quick.
From that day everyone called spring WATER SPRING!! And people made action figures and
started to put posters and flyers.
Now Spring started protecting the city and everyone was happy again.

ALICE ANDREW AND THE ALIENS

Alice and Andrew are playing in their room and suddenly a
spaceship comes and takes them both and tells them we are going
to ask you riddles and you have to solve
Them if you get any of them wrong we will invade earth
1st of September 3rd of October 2nd of November 3th of
September
they both say Stop!!! Correct!! Said the aliens
what is yours but your friends use it most they both said NAME!!!
This is the last riddle
You see a room filled with sand and no door and a small window
and a shovel
How will you get out both of them answered to take a shovel and make a mountain?
Of sand and climb on top and go out of the window correct the aliens said again
And they both went home happily

STACY AND CASSEY

Once upon a time, there were 2 birds their name was
Stacy and Cassey they were best friends. One day
Stacy got lost but Cassey didn’t know so Cassey went
to call Stacy she wasn’t there. She went searching for
her then she saw a house which had Stacy. She went
into the house then they were escaping but they saw
some woman then they flew away and the woman
started following them but they couldn’t find them
so they went away. Stacy and Cassey were hiding
behind a leaf so they started playing. After that, they built a new house. They wanted to live
together but their parents didn’t allow them. So they planned that their house would be a
treehouse to have fun. After a few days, Stacy and her parents shifted to a new place. Cassey and
Stacy weren’t able to meet each other.
One day Cassey wrote a mail and sent it to Stacy’s address. Stacy read the mail, the mail said-
‘Hello Stacy. This is me, Cassey. Can we meet each other under the big oak tree? I’ve missed you
a lot. LOVE- CASSEY.’ Stacy sent a mail that said ‘I’m not sure if we can, I’ll have to ask my parents.
I also have made new friends. Sorry, Cassey…. Also, I forgot about your name, you are not my best
friend anymore. Sorry to hurt your feelings.’ When Cassey saw the mail she got very sad that Stacy
was not her best friend anymore. Cassey wanted to make new friends and forget all about Stacy.
But she was not able to forget about Stacy. So she was so irritated that she was about to delete
her friend's number but someone called her. It was her father, he told us we are shifting to where
Stacy lives. So she was lucky, not lucky happy and angry all at the same time. Then they went to
where Stacy lives. Cassey went to Stacy’s house after that Stacy got surprised and disappointed in
Cassey. So Stacy said, “why are you here?” Cassey said that “I have been so lonely. Can you be my
friend again please?” so Stacy said that “I am not very sure Cassey…” the next day Stacy called
Cassey even though they were neighbours and lived next to each other. Then Cassey opened the
door and said “yes let's be friends again! And let's play with my friends also!” And they became
friends again, the end.

THE MAGIC SHOES

‘‘Don’t you dare mess with me’’, shouted Gia with
a wicked smile. Upon hearing the sounds, the teacher
came in the library. Gia and her mom were called in the
principal’s office and Gia was suspended for 2 days. ‘’But
why?’’, asked Gia’s mom. “For shouting and bullying kids
many times in school”, said the disappointed principal.
This was not the first time Gia got in trouble, her mom
thought of a solution on the way home.

Next day, her mom gave her a beautiful pair of
red shiny shoes. ‘’WOW!!!! They are so pretty”, said Gia
excitedly, she had never seen such beautiful shoes. She
put them on right away and asked, ‘’But why are you
giving a gift instead of punishing me?’’ said Gia
curiously. ‘’Umm…...because they look good on you’’
Gia’s mom lied.

She wore them to school and asked herself
‘’What is happening to me??”. But little did she know
that she was under a spell!!! Yes, her mother had gifted
her magic shoes! In the play-area when Gia was playing tag, she spotted Lilly bullying Daisy for her
looks. Gia thought if that happened to her she would not like it, so she decided to help her. ‘’Hey
don’t bully her, she looks good the way she is’’ Gia said strongly. Then she yelled out ‘’MA’AM’’
and Lilly ran away so fast. Gia felt happy for the first time because she did something nice for
someone else. Daisy was also happy.

Gia wore the shoes every day and never bullied anyone. One day she forgot to wear them,
but she was still kind because it made her feel nice to be good to others. Her mom knew that being
kind is now part of her nature, she no longer needed the shoes.

BHOJA’S EAGLE

Bhoja lived in the terrain. The terrain is the region at
the foot of the Himalayas where the grasses grow
tall, and the forest is thick.

Bhoja loved the forest. He knew the birds and beasts
that lived there. He knew the trees where the
honeybees built their huge combs, and the caves
where the bats hung upside down.

He liked to sit by the pond where the sarus cranes
waded, and the deer came when they were thirsty.
And he loved the pool where the frogs croaked all day.

One day, while he was out roaming in the forest, he found an eaglet with a broken wing. It had
fallen off its nest high on a semal tree. The huge tree was bare. It had shed its leaves to welcome
spring. In a few days it will get new buds. Soon its covered in masses of large, crimson flowers.
Then would come fresh, new leaves. But right now there wasn’t a single leaf on the tree. Not able
to fly, and with nothing to stop its fall,

the eaglet had fluttered down… down, down, down to the ground. It trembled with pain.

Seeing it suffer, Bhoja bent down and stroked its head. Then gently, very gently, he picked it up
and took it home.

He cleaned its broken wing with warm water. Then he did what his mother always did. He took a
piece of turmeric root and ground it to a paste.

Carefully he put the paste on the wound. He tied the wing with a strip of soft, moist bark. And he
made a bed of fine grass for the little bird to lie on.

A CRAZY DAY AT THE SAFARI

It was my summer holiday and we decided to go
to the safari. So my parents and I got ready for
the drive to the Bannerghatta safari. I was
especially excited to see their newest addition,
the white tigers. We hopped into the safari bus
and the driver was kind enough to give me the
front seat. Before encountering the tigers, we
saw some Indian spotted deer, sambar,
elephants, sun bears and a pride of lions. The
tigers were last. When we reached their
enclosure no tigers were in sight, they probably
were camouflaged when they heard the sound of our rumbling safari truck. Then as we rounded
a bend on the trail I spotted some orange in the midst of some bushes and then I heard rustling in
another clump of bushes near the spot where I saw glimpses of orange. Just as I scrutinized the
area for more signs of the tiger, out of nowhere the tiger appeared clawing at the sides of our
safari truck! I jumped out of my chair at the sight of the tiger right next to our safari bus. Then, I
saw the tiger’s claws pierce right through the frame of the bus inches away from me! In a split
second I decided to jump out of the bus to lead the tiger away from the bus, I could hear my
mother scream “Are you crazy Dhruv?!”, I tried to as fast as I could but I was no match to the tigers
speed, it pounced and pinned me to the ground. Then a miracle happened, I started growling and
snarling, and I think I must have said something like “please don’t eat me, I just want to say that
the people in the bus with me just want to see you not disturb you or steal anything.” Because
then the tiger said something like “my name is Mithun and ok I will not damage any other safari
truck.” So from then on Mithun or any other tiger never bothered any sightseers.

THE LYING BOY

Once upon time there lived a boy named Jack. Jack was a
boy who loved lying to others. One-day Jack`s mom said
to him “Jack can you get milk from the cows” he said sure
mom and on he went. While he was milking the cow, he
thought why don`t I lie to the villagers. Then he started
shouting “tiger is coming help me” the villagers came
long sticks to hit the tiger and said “where is the tiger?
“Ha ha ha I tricked you. The villagers got so angry at him.
This went on for two weeks. Then the villagers thought
not to come when the boy is calling for help. The next
morning while he was milking the cow, a real tiger came
and the boy shouted for help but no one came to help
the boy and so the tiger killed the boy and ate him. THE END

Moral of the story: Never lie or you will be in big trouble

FLEXI GIRL

Teena was a lazy girl always relaxing and watching devices
sleeping on her bed. Her mom decided to do something
for her to get rid of her laziness. She put her in gymnastics
classes and after going there Teena found that everyone
is so flexible and stretching so good other than her. She
felt bad and was depressed about it. She told her mom
how sad she felt but her mom encouraged her and told
her no one is perfect, it all comes with hard work. If u try
and practice every day someday you will be better at it.
Teena felt encouraged and remembered her mom's
words and practiced stretching every day. After few
months of hard work, she was able to do most of the gymnastic moves and she felt proud of
herself. Few years later she was a master in gymnastics and she even went to competitions and
won awards at the national level. Her parents were so proud of her achievements and she was a
happy, strong and flexible girl. There is nothing we cannot do, we all have to work hard and try to
achieve what we want by practice.

THE LAZY QUEEN

I wrote the story about the lazy Princes because we all
will understand how important it is to be honest and
not to be lazy.

Once upon a time there used to be a lazy Princess called
Bella. Bella was so lazy that she woke up at 10:45 and she
used to eat 3 bowls of chicken in the morning at lunch
time she used to eat 5 huge burgers and for dinner she
used to eat 2 bowls of rice and because of her habits. She
became 75 cm fat she used to have lots of other lazy and
bad habits than the king observed all the bad habits of
the princess and then he decided to teach her a lesson
and he got an idea by organizing a ball. After the king
organized the ball the princess was so excited that she
woke up at 6:00 in the morning and got dressed up so beautifully and went to the ball. but the
minute she stepped in the ball she again showed up her laziness and slept in middle of the ball
and then woke up after 10 minutes and then she started dancing but she was not able to dance
properly because she was to fat, and everyone started laughing at the same time because her
dance was so funny, and she even slipped over ,Then that night after the ball the lazy
princess realized that she has to overcome her laziness .From then on, she started being very
honest to herself and everyone around her she was also no longer any little like a lazy princess
but like a honest princess because of the lesson she learned at the ball.

THE MYSTERIOUS CABIN

One night in a forest there was a little cabin deep in the
woods. No one had seen the cabin or been inside, but
this cabin was no other than a regular cabin. The same
night a woodcutter was lost in the woods. He found a
cabin to stay in. When he entered the cabin, it was
creaking and making noises. The woodcutter was tired
and so he laid down on the bed. But when he tried to
sleep, he heard voices saying ‘Leave now’ but he kept on
sleeping.

The next day when he woke up, he was in a world full
of white and black. He was surprised how he could be in a
world in black and white. He remembered last night there
was a Voice. When he looked behind there was a giant
creature with scars and razor-sharp teeth living in the
cabin all along it was about to jump on him but when it
did, he finally woke up.

He had just realized that it was only a nightmare, and
he was sleeping in his house.

THE TWO RABBITS

Once upon a time there lived two bunnies (rabbits) nearby a
stream. Their mother warned them not to go to the stream. One
day the two rabbits saw something on the opposite side of the
stream. It was like a spaceship . Out of curiosity they decided to go
there and see what it was. The first one said “How do we go there?
We have no way?” The second one said “I have an idea”. There
were stones leading across the stream to the other side. So they
jumped on the stones and they reached the other side.

To their surprise a baby alien named Yoda came and
said “I have a problem. The Jawas (alien pirates) took my box
containing a magic egg. Will you help me?” asked the alien. They said “Okay. But where is the
magic box hidden?”. Yoda said “It is hidden in Dino cave. In the cave there lives an alien dinosaur
which will eat everyone entering the cave.” The first rabbit said “We need a plan.” The second
took their father’s vehicle and drove to the Dino cave with Yoda.

In the cave they had a fierce battle with the dinosaur and with the alien power of Yoda
killed it. The first rabbit said” See there is the magic box”. The second rabbit took the box and
handed the same to Yoda. He said “Thank you bunnies. I will give him my lightsaber.” He gave his
alien lightsaber to the bunnies. The Bunnies were very happy and they took Yoda to his spaceship.

At the end Yoda bid bye to the bunnies. Bunnies returned to their home and showed
the lightsaber to their parents.

DR. DOOM VS JACK THUNDER

Once upon a time in 1976, Dr Doom attached
the city with a large Mechaman robot and
destroyed 1046 buildings on the same day.
Jack thunder was born a few years later than
Dr Doom. Jack went on a walk and found Dr
Doom's base. By the way, Jack is destined to
be a hero anyway. He walked and found all
of his inventions even the Mechaman from
1976 and a robot assistant and a spider's web
everywhere and Jack was like it's just like a
dream. Dr Doom is not real. He went back
home and slept and had a bad dream about
Dr Doom and fighting him. The next day he went back to the base and found a secret tunnel he
crawled in the leaky tunnel and found Dr Doom and he said come battle, Jack. Responded why??
he said we have some unfinished business with you all my friends were protecting you which
forced me to kill them. and electric power that you got is there inside you. Did you try to kill me?
The next day they both were fighting. Dr Doom choked him but Jack found his true self and power
and zapped him. Dr Doom fell to the ground and Jack saved the day.

A DAY ON MY CYCLE

It was a bright sunny day in my small adobe at
Shubh enclave. Yes, I am talking about my home sweet
home. I have been living here since I was nine months old
as far as my parents say. But my first memory of my
house is when I was four years old, I had a chance to
invite my kindergarten friends for my birthday party.

So let's focus on my present story, the most cherish
able moment of my day, my mornings on my cycle.

Today as usual I got up for my routine online classes.
I still have ten minutes left, that’s when I get to do what I enjoy the most …. Cycling. I wear my
hat, put on my crocs and race down the stairs outside. I hop on my cycle and flee through the
front gate. It just feels awesome with the wind against my face, the sun shining bright against the
trees, the birds chirping in the morning light.

I pedal through the deserted lane opposite my house. Yes, you read it correctly, I have no
neighbours, it's just my house standing tall all along the road. The end of my cycling journey is a
huge apartment site. Every morning I cycle and stop there, I wait eagerly for my dear friend. He is
an elegant, attractive and adorable dog called Rugi. The owner’s maid takes him for a walk every
day at the same time. He belongs to the Siberian husky breed. I spend my time petting him, playing
with him. He adores me, He is excited as he wags his tail and jumps up and down.

I hope to own a dog one day too. My dad doesn’t agree at present, he wants me to become
independent and responsible. They are all too big words for my brain to sink in.

My mornings on my cycle, my journey through the roads and my five-minute meet with Rugi
are my favourite parts of my daily routine.

THE ODD SNAIL

Once upon a time there was a snail named Adam.
He felt like the odd one out in the whole universe
because one day an enormous asteroid came and
hit all the snails except Adam and ever since that
day all the snails had shells.

The next day a scientist came from a planet called
earth and took Adam with him because he was
odd. The scientist researched and researched but
found no matches. Finally, he came up with an idea to invent a new thing called SLUG.
When Adam was put back to his planet he did not feel odd but special.

Some days later more slugs were born. But no matter how many slugs there

were Adam still felt the most special slug ever!!! Adam

THE MYSTERY OF THE MAGIC DOG

Rinav ilayaraja

Grade III A

One sunny morning, two boys named Joe and Jefin bought
a dog. The dog was named Ranger and was always active in
the mornings, running here and there. At night the family
will sleep but the dog will not at all sleep. The dog will never
be found in the house. Three sixty-five days passed, still, the
family did not notice that the dog was not at all there in the
house during the night. One dark night Jefin started
sleepwalking and while he was walking he fell down and
noticed that Ranger the dog, is missing. Jafin went and woke
up Joe and told him that the dog is missing. They both started searching everywhere, but they
could not find the dog anywhere in the house. They searched in the garden and it was not there
as well. Suddenly they heard a barking sound. So they started following that noise. They saw some
other dog but not Ranger. They asked the people nearby. And one of the people informed that he
saw the white dog going into the deep dark forest. They both went into the forest looking for the
dog. Suddenly they saw the Ranger turning into a wolf. Joe and Jefin went back home quietly
without taking their dog. The dog came back home the very next morning. Again both the boys
followed the dog in the night and saw the dog turn into a wolf. Ranger ran fast in the deep forest
but both the boys were not that fast enough to catch up with ranger. They both followed the
footprint of the wolf. They found a village and went over there. They called their parents and told
them about what happened. Their parents came and they all started searching for Ranger, while
they were searching they saw a tunnel. They went inside the tunnel, when they went inside the
tunnel there were two parts ways. In the first part on the left side both the parents went and in
the second partway the right side went both the boys' Joe and Jefin. When both the boys were
going they found something saying put a magic red stone on a wolf’s mouth to change it to any
pet animal forever. The parents saw the wolf and the wolf saw the parents, the wolf started
chasing the parents and the parents started running away from the wolf. Both the boys walked
for a while in the pathway. Then a dead-end came so Jefin and Joe thought that the stone must
be somewhere under us. They started digging and digging and they found the red stone.
They got some food and put the red stone in it so while eating it will eat the shining red stone.
The parents were running, running and running, the wolf got the smell of the food, the boys went
over there. The boys hid when the wolf came. The wolf ate the food with the shiny red. The
parents saw the wolf and the wolf saw the parents, the wolf started chasing the parents and the
parents started running away from the wolf. Both the boys walked for a while in the pathway.
Then a dead stone. The boys wished it to become a dog so it became a dog. Joe, Jefin and the dog
found their parents. They all went back home and lived happily ever after.

PASHU AND THE LITTLE CROCODILE

A boy called Pashu lived in a village near forest with
his family. He was very kind hearted, he helped his
parents by getting some wood from the forest and
gave it to his father so that he could sell it and make
some money. Every morning he would wake up early
and go to the forest. one day there was heavy rain and
the river that was passing through the forest was
flooded. Next day he went to the forest to cut the
wood

He was walking through
the woods and he heard a crying sound, he went in search of “who is that?” he whispered. After
a few minutes of walking he saw a small crocodile that was crying. He was afraid to go and speak
to the crocodile. After a while seeing he felt sad and went near that and asked

Pashu: What happened, why are you crying?

Crocodile: ……………………….

Pashu: I will help you please tell me.

Crocodile: cried and told I am lost from my family in this flood.

Pashu: I will help you find your parents to come with me.

Crocodile: thank you

They both went in search of parents after a miles of traveling in the woods he again heard a
crying voice they both went in search of voice. there crocodile saw his mother crying for him.
when his mother saw him she felt so happy she hugged him and told where have u gone my kid?
without seeing you I couldn't leave

He replied saying that he was washed away in flood miles this boy named Pashu helped to find
you mom

Mom: thank you Pashu!

Pashu: I am happy that he found you

Crocodile: let's be friends

Pashu: yes, sure

His mom told Pashu whenever he needs help he can come. Pashu was happy seeing that
crocodile met his mother. He hugged him and came back happily.

MAGIC COOKBOOK

Once there were 3 girls named Kelly, Hannah, and
Darbie. They are in 7th grade. They are also best
friends!!

One fine Wednesday they were baking a cake! It
was for Kelly’s grandmother. It was almost her
birthday. While Hannah was mixing the batter,
Kelly’s brother Buddy Came in (he was younger than
Kelly.) He smelled the cake and then secretly picked
it up but then he dropped it! Kelly was very angry and so was Hannah and Darbie. They chased
Buddy all through the house and then they went up the attic where they were not allowed to go.
But they did, soon Buddy ran off and a box fell over it was filled with things and right then Kelly
spotted the Magical cookbook but they didn’t know it was Magical. They flipped through the book
and saw a picture of her grandma and 2 other people which they didn’t know. Then they flipped
to a page which had a recipe called “Shut’em up shortcake” Then Darbie said, “Can we do this
one? It’s a cake!” Kelly said “Sure”. Soon the three of them were cooking, then they had to add
something called Cedronian Vanilla and they didn’t have that so they went to a shop called Mama
P then they asked her if she had Cedronian Vanilla and she had it! Finally, they cooked the recipe.

It turned out amazing! Kelly gave Hannah a piece to take home. On her grandmother’s birthday
Kelly was bringing the cake out and her brother Buddy wanted to carry the cake so he took it.
Then they were fighting over who gets to carry the cake. Soon the cake fell, and Buddy ate a piece.
Kelly’s parents quickly got up and cleaned the mess. Kelly went to her grandma and said that “I
wanted you to have the perfect birthday and the perfect cake so you could taste how much I love
you and to show that all those years of teaching me how to cook wasn’t a waste, I even found
your old cookbook and used a recipe called “Shut’em up shortcake”. Kelly’s grandma said “Trust
your instincts” and ate a little bit of cake. Suddenly, she stopped talking.

Kelly couldn’t understand what happened. She sat on her bed and thought “why should I trust my
instincts? What was grandma trying to say”. Soon she got tired and fell asleep. The next day, Kelly
woke up and got ready for school. Just then Buddy came down, he was not able to talk. Kelly said
“Ohh, I guess I did shut you up!!”. Buddy talked on mute again. Kelly said “you really can’t talk”.
Kelly ran upstairs and looked at the cookbook. It seemed fine. She ran to school as she was getting
late. She found Hannah and said “Buddy can’t talk; it must be because he ate that piece of cake”.
Hannah said “It’s ok, I ate some of the cake this morning and I am fine. He is probably just sick”.
Soon Darbie came and she couldn’t stop talking.

Later they had basketball class. Darbie couldn’t stop talking and she was walking backwards.
Hannah was about to say something but then she couldn’t talk. While going, Darbie tripped over
a basketball and hurt her leg. It was an awful day. After school, they went to Kelly’s house. They
talked about the cookbook and how the magic worked. They together started searching for the
counter recipe and found a recipe named “Healing tarts”.

They started cooking it with Vanilla and other ingredients. After it was done, Darbie ate it and her
leg got better. Hannah and Darbie went home. Kelly apologized to Buddy for what she said and
suddenly he could talk again.

Kelly went to her room and looked at the cookbook. There was a message at the bottom. It said
“When adding Cedronian Vanilla, whatever result comes with a price but with a noble act that’s
kind and true you’ll be fine”. Soon she understood the riddle. When she apologized to buddy, he
could talk. She went to grandma and hugged her, she could talk again. She ran to Hannah and
Darbie’s houses and told them Buddy could talk again and When Hannah replied she talked too!

Everyone got back to normal. They were happy and played for a while and then they went home
because tomorrow there was school again.

A BABYSITTING DISASTER

Grace was a babysitter. And
today she is babysitting a little boy and a little girl called
Joshua and Leah. ‘Be careful Grace, Joshua is sneaky. He
pulled all sorts of pranks on the previous babysitters. The
last 3 quit because of it.’ Mr. Tamerlane said. ‘Oh, I’ve
dealt with naughty kids. I’ll be able to handle him.’ Grace
said confidently. ‘Are you sure?’ Mrs. Tamerlane said. ‘Of
course Mrs. Tamerlane! I’ll be fine.’ Grace replied. ‘Alright
then, remember they get fussy if you don’t take them out
for ice cream at 3. And they need to have their morning snack at 11.’ Mrs. Tamerlane said. ‘We
better get going now, I don’t want to miss the job interview!’ said Mr. Tamerlane, stepping out
the front door. A little girl with long strawberry-blonde hair and pale green eyes stepped into the
living room. She wore a light grey dress with full sleeves and pale pink butterflies on it. ‘Oh! You
must be Leah! I’ll be your babysitter for today.’ said Grace, kneeling down. ‘Leah! Where are you!
Let’s play with my new nerf gun!’ called a voice from the hall next to the kitchen.

Then a boy came into the room. He had dark skin and black hair and looked a little older than
Leah. He wore a medium grey shirt with full sleeves and dark blue shorts. ‘Oh! And you must be
Joshua!’ Grace said, turning around. ‘I’ll be your babysitter today. Alright, it’s about 10:50, I’ll get
you guys your morning snack.’ Grace went into the kitchen and opened the fridge. ‘What do you
guys usually have for your snack?’ she asked. ‘We usually have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,
but if there’s a special event soon then we have cupcakes.’ Leah said quietly. ‘Hmm. well, I think
I’ll make some cupcakes. What flavor?’ Grace asked. ‘I like chocolate. With sprinkles and whipped
cream and chocolate chips!’ Joshua said gleefully. ‘Alright then.’ Grace said, bringing out some
cake mix. ‘Oh don’t use that, it tastes TERRIBLE.’ Joshua said. ‘Okay Grace said, putting away the
mix. ‘I prefer it when it’s made from scratch.’ Joshua sniggered. Once Grace was finally done she
said ‘okay kids I’m going to take a nap. Keep yourselves behaved.’ And then she went down the
hallway into the guest's room.

As she was sleeping, the kids did the opposite of what she told them to. “Let’s pull a prank on
her!’ Joshua said. ‘Don’t you think making the other 3 babysitters quit is more than enough? Mum
and dad will be angry when they come back. Last time you made the house so dirty, and you got
ME grounded as well! Don’t you think that’s unfair for mom, dad, and the babysitter? You’ve done
this so much! I think you should stop.’ Leah said. ‘Well, it’s fun so I do it. And this time, nothing
will be broken. She’ll just think that the house is haunted.’ Joshua said. He went into his room and
came back out with a black sharpie and a white blanket. He drew angry eyes on it. ‘Come on! She’s
waking up! Come here and get under the sheet!’ He whispered. ‘Fine…’ Leah said. And she joined
him under the sheet.

Grace then woke up with a large yawn and came into the hallway. They hid. She then walked into
the kitchen to make herself some food. They then snuck behind her and carefully opened one of
the cabinets. Then, they threw a plate at her and hid again. Grace screamed and ran into the living
room. Then they came out and Grace was running for the door she turned her head and ran. They
then heard the door unlocking and took off the sheet. ‘I’m never coming here again!’ Grace
screamed as Joshua and Leah’s confused parents walked into the house.

BUBBLE’S PRECIOUS BOOK

Once upon a time, there lived an Alicorn named Bubble. She lives
in Equestria. One fine day she was sleeping on her cosy Alicorn
bed. When she was sleeping a thief entered her house! He was
trying to steal her precious book which she loved so much!

A few minutes later, he entered her room, he slowly tried to grab
her book and you know what else is bubble? It’s going to be a
strange and fierce animal it’s an... ALICORN DRAGON!!! If she
immediately sees him steel her book, she is going to kick him and
even roar at him! And bubble is a fast flyer!

Later he quickly grabbed her book! ’MY BOOK!!!” Shouted
bubble. The thief quickly ran out of bubble’s house then when he
was running he saw a Pegasus pony named Flutter shy. She
whispered” Oh...my! Then bubble roared and she quickly flew to
the thief and kicked him! After some fighting with the thief, she got
her favorite book back.

and publish them He thought that if he gave and published his stories it would be great He went
to ask his parents If the would allow him to publish his stories They told yes Then he went to the
site and published his stories Later he was asked his address He told that Some days later

A delivery came He opened it Then he saw all his books He was really really really really really
happy

He read them day by day He was asked to write more stories He did that and published it He was
very happy He became famous and then he got money with that he helped many charities and old
people, children, adults etc. He was now 24 He starts a company called Books of books He was
publishing his stories On his site Then he created more and more And published them Later came
his birthday He called all his friends All of them came They all gave him books He was very
happy. There were 24 of them

He read them in 6 days Now at the age of 35 He created a orphanage, farm, old age home,
hospitals, plant saving foundation etc. So he became old But did not stop Then he created a big
story Without knowing he created 3000 Words story And without knowing He broke the world
record But unfortunately he had no strength So that was his last Book But his company never ever
broke And after his death he was still famous and alive in books The end, thank you

A MEMORABLE VACATION

In the winter vacations, Adi’s family decided to take
a trip to Kerala. His parents and grandparents joined
him on this trip. His mother’s parents visited
Bangalore from Uttarakhand two days before their
trip.

They booked their train tickets from Bangalore to
Cochin by train. Initially, their tickets were not
confirmed, but they got confirmed on the day of
travelling. However, they got two different coaches.
His grandparents were travelling in one coach, and in
one coach, he was with his parents.

They reached Alleppey early in the morning. It was dawn, so they had to wait for full sunrise. They
managed to find a restaurant to sit in and have breakfast. From there, they booked an auto to
reach the houseboat. They also had to wait for a few hours, which was very tiring for all of them,
since they had no proper place for waiting.

Around 11 Am, they managed to enter the houseboat. It had three rooms, a small terrace, a place
to sit and relax, and a driver seat. During all the houseboat stay, he was super excited. He was so
cheerful on the entire trip. The best part that made him more thrilled was that he will sleep in a
houseboat in the middle of the river.

Houseboat took them all around Alleppey city, and in the afternoon, it stopped somewhere near
a village, where they all stepped out and went out to buy fish. The cook was with them in the
houseboat, and he cooked that fish, they had a lovely lunch.

They saw the sunset from the houseboat in the evening, and they stopped near a village.

They stepped out from the boat to walk to a nearby village. But there were so many mosquitoes
that it was tough for them to stay outside without applying any mosquito’s repellent. They forget
to bring one with them. So, they decided to go to the village across the river to buy the repellent.

Adi and his father went to the other side of the river, using a tiny boat; only two people could sit
in that boat. He was sitting on his father’s lap. It was fascinating for him.

On the other side of the river, there were some shops where they purchased mosquito repellent
and used the same boat to come back to their houseboat

Later they had a yummy dinner and played carrom board before bed.

The next day, they took a tempo-traveller and headed to Guruvayur. It’s a place in Kerala where
they have a very popular temple of Lord Krishna.

Adi was a little shy since he had to wear Kerala attire to enter the temple. He was only allowed to
wear dhoti, and he could only cover the chest with a bit of cloth. Initially, Adi was a little annoyed
to walk in dhoti since it was very tough for him to walk. But little later, he understood how to hold
the dhoti and walk by, seeing other people around him. He and his family managed to have a
proper darshan after standing in a queue for a long time.

The next day from the Guruvayur, they all went to the beach. There they had fun all day.

Later they went to the Munnar by the same tempo traveller and had fun in tea estates. The hotel
in the Munnar had organized a new year party. Everyone enjoyed the party till late in the night.
And the next day, Adi’s family headed to the airport since they had to catch the flight for
Bangalore.

They had a very memorable and exciting trip.

THE MAGICAL PEN

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named
Sheena. She used to live with her mom and dad.
Sheena was 8 years old. She was very beautiful and
polite. She loved to write. Whatever she used to do in
the day she wrote that as a story. In fact, writing was
her hobby and her best friend as well.

One day, she went to a shopping mall with her
parents. Since she was fond of writing, she wanted to
buy a pen. Her mom bought a new red colour pen for
her. It was very attractive and colourful. The pen was
shiny and glittery. Sheena was very happy with her
gift.

In the night, before going to bed, Sheena wanted to write a story with her new pen. As soon she
wrote the first word on the paper, the pen started writing on its own the story she visualized in
her mind. Sheena, at first, was scared to see that. Then the pen wrote a message to her saying
“Don’t be scared, I am your friend”. She was surprised and happy too as she didn’t have any
friends.

Sheena used to think every day and the pen automatically wrote her thoughts on paper. She
always used to keep the pen with her. They became a very good friend. It was going very well.
When exams were due, Sheena was very happy that the pen would write everything, and she
would get good marks. But she forgets one thing, the pen would only write whatever she thought.

When the exam results were announced, Sheena didn’t score good marks. She was very upset
with the pen and started scolding it. The pen was quiet. After some time, the pen wrote a message
for her saying “I only write what you think. So, when you thought the wrong answer, I wrote that”.
Sheena started crying and understood her mistake by not studying well and depending on the
pen. After that day she studied very well and in her next exam she scored excellent marks.

The baby dragon who made her teachers scream!

“Bangggggg!” A loud crash woke up Mamma dragon as Moonbeam, her baby dragon tumbled off the
kitchen shelf with flour not just all over the counter-top but … also, all over her tiny baby head which
now sparkled white like diamonds with two
innocent black-eyes blinking through and staring at
her loving but shocked mum.

Little Moonbeam was a very good dragon-child, but
she was also very naughty and distracted. She lived
in magical Drago City with her wise and loving
Mamma dragon, Starlight. Moonbeam was now old
enough to start going to city school – The Dragons
Academy - where dragons were taught about
ENCHANTING magic spells and all the wisdom of the
dragon world. Mamma dragon enrolled Moonbeam
in the fabulous school. Moonbeam was an obedient
child, but often dreamt off and slid off into her
dreamland during her classes, so she did not always
focus on what the teachers were teaching.

One day Teacher Meera, the Meerkat was
explaining to the class, “My fabulous
dragons, did you know that clever Pytho –
the poisonous python -- is a very bluffy and
wicked monster creature? You must
remember - the giaaaaaaant Pytho monster
is someone to be very careful of. His eyes
can, in a jiffy, go GOOGLE-GOOGLE-GOOGLE
YYYY to instantly hypnotize his prey in
Dragon City. Pytho would then lure them to
his home only to eat them up in a ONE
GIANT GULP.”

All the baby dragons were listening very carefully to the teacher as she explained A-Z about dealing
with Pytho monster, should they ever encounter him in Dragon city! Little Moonbeam did not pay
attention during the lesson. She was busy looking outside the window at the playground where
magical butterflies fluttered fast and dragon kids from other classes were having their Merry-Go-
Round drills. Moonbeam - instead of focusing on the class lesson – was busy thinking to herself,” Ah!
Just how FUNNNNN is the Dragon Academy’s playground! I wish I was there RIGHT NOW.”

After school one day, Mamma dragon was busy attending her work calls at home. So, she got late in
reaching school to pick up Moonbeam. While little Moonbeam sat alone waiting for Mamma, Pytho

monster was passing by and he was HUNGRY as ever. As he saw Moonbeam, his eyes lit up and started
going GOOGLE-GOOGLE-GOOGLYYYYY. He slithered towards Moonbeam to hypnotize and get her, as
his food for the day.

Pytho put on a kind face and asked Moonbeam, “Hey child, you seem to be alone, waiting? Let me
drop you home then since I do know your parents.” Tired and unsuspecting Moonbeam followed the
monster, as Pytho immediately cast his hypnotizing spell on her.

Luckily, Teacher Meera spotted Moonbeam following Pytho. She pounced and paced to bring along
Principal Bahubali – the Sabertooth. Principal Bahubali and Teacher Meera yelled at Pytho with all
their power “Hey you! Pytho – Leave the dragon child alone right now or face the consequences as
we squash you to death.” Pytho knew what brave warriors the Principal and Teacher were … so, he
immediately ran away and broke the hypnotizing spell on Moonbeam as she hurriedly flew back into
Teacher Meera’s arms.

Teacher Meera asked Moonbeam, “I taught you all in the class today to immediately run away and
ask for help, if you ever come across Pytho. Were you not paying attention in the class, my child?”
Moonbeam realized her mistake and apologized for not listening to her teacher.

In the meantime, Mamma dragon also flew in to pick up Moonbeam. Hearing about the incident,
Mamma dragon and Moonbeam both thanked the teacher and the principal for their kindness and
bravery. Moonbeam promised to herself to always pay attention during her class lessons. This was an
important lesson, well learned by Moonbeam now!

THE FOUR BROTHERS

CHAPTER 1: THE KIDNAP

There were four brothers Mark, Mathew, David,
Rick who were seeking an adventure. Rick could
not stand it one minute longer! As he impatiently
went outside, they all heard a strange noise
upstairs. Everything was quiet, Rick stood up and
said he would go and see what the sound was.
He went slowly because he was very frightened
by the sudden noise, all of them were! When he
opened the door, a big person got a hold of him,
and put a cloth in his mouth so that he could not
talk or shout for help! David heard the sound and
rushed upstairs, but he too had been caught.
When Mathew and Mark had heard heavy
footsteps they ran inside to hide some
were.

As he was taking David and Rick away, the big
man had gone into a black limo and then drove away. Mathew and Rick gathered some courage
and went after them with their bikes but the limo was just too fast!

But the limo did leave some marks and they both knew that it belonged to the limo. It just had to
be. It was the only hope of finding their brothers.

CHAPTER 2 BRAVE ENCOUNTER

Mathew and Mark raced
alongside the marks until they found out
that the marks had turned to a narrow road
they had followed the road; it had led to a
huge castle! It was big big. It looked
magnificent, and the limo had been parked
there. “This was where Rick and David must
be,” said Mathew.

Mathew and Mark snuck through the front gate. They were now in front of the big castle where
they had found a broken window big enough for them to get in. They went into the hole; it was dirty
and looked like a sewer drain [The only thing they could wish for right now was that nobody flushes
the toilet!] They hoped that it would lead to where Rick and David. The hole led to a small-unused

bathroom. Mark opened the door and saw a big room. There was another door, they went inside and
found Rick and David.

They were all so happy to see each other,
but the big man would come back soon!
So they had to be quick.

“The only thing to do now is to call the
police, but before that we need to get out
without being noticed,” said Mathew.

Mark told them how they got in through
the hole. All four of them came to the
bathroom and went through the hole to get down. After everybody had come down, they went to
the police station immediately. They sped away as fast as they could on the bikes. They reached the
police station and told the officer what had happened. The police reached the castle in five squad
trucks and hid in different areas of the castle waiting to catch the kidnapper.

The big person had come back to the building then the officer counted 1, 2, and 3 and then everyone
pounced on the big man and caught him. The four brothers patted each other, as they had a great
adventure.

HUGGY WUGGY

Much awaited summer holidays were here. Ryan was playing
with his friends in the afternoon. Not very far, from where they
were playing was an abandoned construction site. The kids
were not allowed to go there for safety reasons. There were
also rumors that monster named Huggy Wuggy lived there.
Some, who claimed to see him, said that Huggy Wuggy was a
blue creature standing unnaturally tall, towering over four
floors, with cartoonish red lips and plastic eyes. He fed on the
fear of kids and was extremely scared of shearing machines.
Hence, there were a lot of shearing machines left on the construction site, and it was believed that
will keep Huggy Wuggy away.

One day it was raining, and the kids could not play outside. Ryan and his friends decided to play ‘’Truth
or Dare’’. It was Ryan’s turn and he chose to dare. Ryan’s friend, Nate asked Ryan to go inside the
construction site at night.

Ryan said, “What! Are you crazy! I would never go there!’’

Anna said, “Don’t be a chicken. You always talk high of yourself. I bet you are more scared than
anyone.”

Ryan got angry and to prove that he is the bravest he decided to go to the construction site and
capture a photo of Huggy Wuggy.

As soon as the rain stopped, the kids took their bikes and went to the construction site. Ryan took a
deep breath and looked at his friends. A sweat of fear trickled down his face. He wiped it with his
shirtsleeve. He told his friends that if he is not back in 10 minutes, they should call his parents.

Ryan went inside. He flashed his torch and could see the rubble lying everywhere. He suddenly saw a
blue flash. His throat was dry and his feet were cold. He told himself to stay calm and went further in.
Suddenly, something scraped against his shoulders. He looked and he saw big red lips close to his face.

He froze with fear. He tried to shout but there was no voice. He mustered all the courage that he had
and started running away like the wind.

Ryan went up a staircase. Huggy Wuggy chased him. His voice fell on
Ryan’s ears.
“Do you want a hug’’
‘’Come here’’
“Don’t be scared!”

Ryan went to the roof of the construction site. He hid there and waited. He remembered that his dare
was to click Huggy Wuggy’s picture. He took out his camera and prepared.

BAM! A loud noise startled him. Huggy Wuggy was on the roof. Ryan told himself that he must be
courageous. He placed the camera on his chest, ran towards the monster, and clicked as many
pictures as he could. Huggy Wuggy was startled. The camera flash hurt his eyes.

He backed off and stumbled over the construction rubble. Ryan quickly ran down and picked up a
shearing machine. Huggy Wuggy was still agitated and rubbing his eyes Ryan took the shearing
machine and trimmed all of Huggy Wuggy’s hair on his head. Huggy Wuggy sent a shrill cry. He
touched his hairless head and started crying. Ryan started laughing at this sight. Ryan knew he has
defeated Huggy Wuggy he clicked one more photo to show his friends. He warned Huggy Wuggy to
not come near the kids. Huggy Wuggy pleaded to be spared and promised not to scare children.

Ryan came out and told his friends all about his adventure but his friends did not believe him. He
wanted to show his friends the photos. He took out his camera but the camera did not have any photo
in it. Even though his friends were making fun of him, but he knew he, clicked photos and he went
back home smiling and feeling proud of himself…

MYSTERY OF THE MISSING HONEY POTS

Once upon a time, two young bears liked honey more than anything else did. They were brothers and
they lived in a big cave in the forest. The two bears loved to play and have fun all day, but they made
sure that they kept large pots of honey in their cave to eat, whenever they wanted.
It was winter and the two bears were hibernating in their cave. One morning, they heard a huge noise
and woke up, confused. They looked around and found that their honey pots were missing. They did
not know where their honey pots had gone, and they started searching for it everywhere in their
house but did not find it.

The two bears then came out of their cave to search for the honey pots. They asked all the animals
in the jungle if they had seen the missing honey pots, but nobody had seen it, so they went back to
their cave thinking it was in there, but it wasn’t. The bears then heard another loud noise from the
bushes and went to check what it was. They saw a big bear behind a bush; he was eating up all their
honey! The two bears said, “You’re the one who stole our honey!” The big bear said, “Sorry, I was
really hungry and was looking for something and smelt the delicious honey.” The two young bears
replied, “You should have asked us if you wanted honey, we would have been happy to share it with
you.” The big bear said, “Ok, from now on I will ask, and I won’t steal.” The two young bears went
back home and decided to share their honey with the big bear and the other animals, instead of
keeping it all for themselves.

irresponsible, did not take care of his things and put
trash on the ground a lot. His mom kept telling him
to correct himself and not to do it but he kept on
doing it.

One day he got up early, so he went for a walk by
himself while his parents were still resting at
home. Soon it started to rain, so he had to rush back home. While returning home he saw many signs
that said caution that he did not see before that morning. And when he was about to enter the house
he saw a sign appear in front of him. It said ‘Caution don’t enter, it’s a mess’. He was scared, he rang
the bell but nobody answered. He started banging the door and the door slowly opened once he
stopped banging. He saw lots of litter and clothes and paper and plastic everywhere in the living
room. He was scared and wondered what happened to his house and parents. He started calling out
to his mom and the parents came from the room and asked him if he liked the way the house looked
right now. He said ‘No, of course not’.

‘So son, this is how the house will be if you don’t learn to be responsible and take care of your things
and keep them in its place and put litter away’, his mom said. Nitin said ‘Sorry Mom, Sorry Dad’. They
all smiled, hugged each other and cleaned the house together.

loved school. He had many friends. However, for
some reason everyone at school always bullied Max.
He did not understand why and when he went home
he never told his parents about this. He did not really
care about the bullies and just played with his
friends.
One-day people were being very mean and Max
started to cry. He got so upset he decided that he
should start acting and dressing cool to impress the
bullies. The next day everyone was shocked to see Max looking and acting cool. Everyone wanted to
play with him.
Then a boy came up to Max and said, “You don’t need to act cool to be cool, you just need to be
nice” Max learned his lesson. From that day, he decided to be himself and just be kind to everyone.
He found out that he cannot stop others from being mean, but he can make sure he is always kind
to everyone.

WHAT A SCARY NIGHT IT WAS !!

There were four brothers who lived in a small town called
Lindau in Germany, with beautiful island and lakes around
them.one day they heard about a big castle which was located
far from their place. They decided to visit the castle the next
day. They woke up early in the morning and were excited to
go. They started to the castle; by the time they reached, it was
late afternoon. They had booked an amazing huge room with
amazing view of the backyard.

As they travelled long way from Lindau, they were too tired and
hungry. Therefore, they decided to and pick their dinner.

They were mesmerized to see the lunch hall as the
table was full of variety recipes. They finished their
scrumptious meal and went for a walk into the
garden.

While walking, little did they knew from their
friends was that the garden was a scary garden.

A gardener guided them through the garden, as it
was big. Meanwhile one brother among them is
always curious to know the things around him.

The garden had many gates, while he was walking, he looked at a huge gate, which looked special,
and the curious brother insisted to open the gate.

The gardener warned saying: It is risky to open the gate and go inside.

Upon multiple requests from the curious brother, the gardener agreed to open the door with little
hesitation.

After opening the gate, the gardener allowed them to go inside and warned the brothers to return
before the sunset.

All the four brothers started walking inside the garden, they like the ambience and aroma of the
garden. Because they were amazed to see such charming flowers around them.

While they were walking, one of the brothers warned them about the time as the sun was setting.
The curious brother was still heading deep inside the garden. The sun was set and they reached almost
middle of the garden.

Though one of the brothers warned others, the curious brother did not listen, they kept walking
ahead.

They felt like somebody stopped them, so they looked back and there was a zombie. Their heart
jumped with fear and they started running without even looking back.

They ran and ran, with that fear they climbed up the tree.

And, the zombie could not find them so he went away. They were sitting on tree whole night and the
sun started to shine.

They were planning to get down from the tree, but suddenly for their surprise, there came a bear. At
that moment, they jumped and started to run back to the castle. The gardener saw them coming from
the gate and was shocked. The Gardner told them, I told you all to come back soon, but you brothers
did not listen to me.

Later they realized that they should have listened to the gardener, with lot of fear they returned to
their small-town Lindau. The curious brother told his brothers what a scary night it was!!! Thank God,
we escaped from Zombie and bear.

I want to tell you a story about my twin sister,
Vynila and me. We went to the High and Small
Graders Elementary School together. The bullies in
the school troubled us a lot. We told them
together, "Go Away! Don't bother us!", and then
we ran off.

We were in grade 12 and when we were going
home our mother told us some sad news, she was
retiring from her job. Therefore, we were sad and
I decided that when I start my job, I will earn lots
of money to help poor people and become rich.
After a few months, I was in college. I knew my
mom did not sleep well in the night to take care of
the house. So, I decided I will take care of the
house so that she could relax. After a few years, I
was in a job and to my surprise the bullies who
troubled us in the school worked in the same
office One day there was something wrong in
Vynila and my laptop. Some thieves were trying to
hack into our bank accounts to steal money but luckily the thieves’ system was out for few hours and
they were

Not able to hack. We installed a new app SecureFromHackers, we found out who hacked into our
bank account. We thought it was the bullies who hacked, and yes, we were right. The app helped us
in spotting them. “Thank God, I thought it was too late and our account was hacked… but no! We got
saved!” I said. We put a complaint with the police station and they were put in jail. The people who
troubled us from the starting were punished and we were very happy for it. After few years, we
became rich, helped poor people and we lived happily ever after

The moral of the story: There is a solution to every problem and you should not give up!

Amp; &I my family were entering a Cruise ship. The surprising part was you had to
DRIVE INTO THE CRUISE! It was ENORMOUS, We climbed steps and then we entered an area,
which had BENCHES, lots of PEOPLE, and even RESTRUANTS! There was one more floor, which
was the bar. I enjoyed the ship but it was time to go, I was still excited because our final
destination Was the FARMHOUSE.

Chapter 3

The Amazing Farm House We reached the farmhouse. I was amazed because it was so
luxurious. It had a POOL, a PRIVATE PARK, a BAR, SEVRAL ROOMS, and a BARBIQUE IN THE
BACKYARD. The first thing that came to my mind was going and having fun in the pool.

Aariya came inside the pool when we came and it was Aariya’s 1 st time in the pool!

I had tasty food for my lunch. After some time Aariya and I went to sleep as we were exhausted from
playing and enjoying ourselves the whole day. In the evening, we went to the pool AGAIN!

While the adults were busy Aariya, my mom and I started playing in the lounge. I took Aariya’s play
mat so then I could teach her some basic stuff that starts with her alphabets.

Then we had our dinner and went to sleep. The next morning my dad, Vivaan and I went for a bubble
bath. We had our breakfast outside with amazing decor done by my mother and took some help from
her partners. We took photos from a drone! Aariya, Vivaan and I went to the park to play. We jumped
on the TRAMPOLINE, slid on the SLIDE and swung on the SWING. We took many pictures in the park.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY, WE HAD TO GO BACK.

THE TRIDENT

Once there lived a mermaid named Lily, her
grandmother asked Lily if she wanted to listen to a story
about her family. Lily said I would like to hear that story,
please begin. Her grandmother began the story, once
upon a time, there was this thing merman created it was
called the trident. It can be used to destroy everything,
land and water! Then one day 1 pod of mermen came
holding the trident, then five pods of mermaids
defeated the mermen and hid the trident on an island
named Mako. If any mermaid touches the trident, they
get electrified. Still, the merman is looking for the
trident. Also, there is good merman too, some merman helped defeat bad merman.
Back in the real world
Lily understood the entire story even though it was short, but by then she fell asleep dreaming about
land people. The next day it said a boy fell into the moon pool. Later in the evening, that boy found
himself as a merman and found mermaids, was friends with them, and never fought.

she was kind too. One day when her best friend fell ill because of a disease, she went to visit her in
the hospital. After an hour when she was about to leave
She saw a little girl who was calling Tala by name. Then Tala asked the girl who she was, the girl said,
“I am your past self”. Then Tala looked at the girl suspiciously then she took her somewhere.

And guess where that place was! It was Tala’s childhood home there she saw herself in her room
looking outside the window at some kids who were playing then Tala and the little girl went inside to
her room her mom just came in and asked her to play outside with the other kids but she refused and
her mom went away then Tala said I regret not playing with my friends and not listening to my mom
then Tala looked at the girl and got surprised because the girl grew up then she took her somewhere
else it was her high school there she saw her teenage self-walk into her classroom and then after 5
minutes her teacher sent her to the detention classroom for not focusing in the class

Then Tala said I regret not focusing on my studies then the little girl grew up and now she looked
exactly like Tala, then she said to Tala you only knew regrets from your childhood till now so why don’t
you donate some money to the orphanage before another Tala ends up like you. That is what Tala
did, so now you know that helping your community is important.
