Oakridgers were introduced to Ms-Paint Software tool
where they learnt about various options like how to use
different paint brushes to draw, how to select colours ,
add background color,how to add text, select font ,
color and its size, how to draw different shapes etc.
Later they were able to draw our national flag of india
using shapes , added colours and text with the meaning
for the tricolour.

Learners had a quick discussion on their residence
location and town or place where it is located.
Then they created a project on “where I live” in

kidspiration tool by typing apartment name, place
it is situated and added city state & country. Also

added pictures to make it look colourful.

MAP OF INDIA

Oakridgers shared their knowledge on the
different states and neighboring countries of
India .They were introduced to online map making
tool called ” mapsofindia.com” where they were
able to mark 5 different states and 5 neighboring
countries in India Map . They also added different
colours to each state of india by choosing the colour
-paint bucket option.

NATIO. NAL SYMBOLS

Oakridgers discussed the national
Features Of India, Its major cities,
places or events reminding history, famous
personalities from both past and present,
national symbols, goods and services we
export & import.

Later they reflected on these facts in
kidspiration tool in the form of mind
map by adding relevent texts in the
boxes

LEARN TO READ

Learners were introduced to online tool
” http://www.starfall.com”. They read
different types of words and matched it
with pictures. Also based on the given
words , they were able to identify the
objects in the images
