Peran dan Tanggung Jawab District Programs Committee

These committees promote district groups, programs, and activities, providing guidance
to Interact, Rotaract, and Rotary clubs. Districts often have a specific committee for each
of the programs or groups, with additional support for Rotaract and Interact clubs. Rotary
offers resources for these committees:

For district Rotaract committees, Rotary International recommends that the district

Peran dan Tanggung Jawab District International Service Committee

This committee works to enhance the quality of the district’s humanitarian efforts by
identifying resources and experts to advise on international service projects and global
grants. The chair should serve a three-year term to ensure consistency and continuity in
developing projects and grants with great impact and sustainability.

District International Service Committee – Rotary Action Group (RAG)

A Rotary Action Group is an autonomous group of Rotarians, family members, and
Rotaractors who are experts in a particular field, such as literacy and peace. Group
members share their expertise by assisting Rotary clubs and districts with their
humanitarian service projects.

Rotary Action Group adalah grup yang berdiri secara mandiri dan terdiri dari
Rotarian, anggota keluarga, serta Rotaractor yang merupakan ahli dalam bidang
tertentu, seperti literasi dan perdamaian. Anggota grup ini membagikan keahlian
mereka dengan membantu Rotary club dan district dalam proyek service
humanitarian.

1. Peace Building & Conflict Prevention

The Rotarian Action Group for Peace assists clubs and districts as they participate in
effective peace and conflict prevention/resolution projects. They publish resources
related to peace and highlight the work of especially successful Rotarian initiatives in the
field.

2. Disease Prevention & Treatment

The Rotarian Action Group that addresses disease prevention and treatment is the
Rotarians for Family Health and AIDS Prevention (RFHA). They are regionally active
throughout Africa and they will soon enter India. Among other activities they organize
and conduct national health days providing testing, treatment and referral services, in
conjunction with health ministries and global health partners and private sector
foundation support.

They also highlight the work of successful Rotarian initiatives in the field.

Rotarians, Rotary districts, and The Rotary Foundation increase the scale and
effectiveness of their participation in the alleviation of illiteracy.

District Government Affairs Liaison (DGAL)’s Role and Responsibilities

Peran dan Tanggung Jawab District Government Affairs Liaison (DGAL)

Senior Rotarian appointed by District Governor D.3420 with the special task of
representing and/or assisting District Governor D.3420 in developing cooperation
between Rotary International D.3420 and the Central Government, Provincial
Government, City/Regional Government, Government/Private Institutions and
Community Organizations. DGALs serve for one year of Rotary service and can be
assigned maximum of 3 consecutive years of Rotary service.

Rotarian Senior yang diangkat oleh District Governor D.3420 dengan tugas khusus
mewakili dan/atau mendampingi District Governor D.3420 dalam mengembangkan
kerjasama antaraRotary International D.3420 dengan Pemerintah Pusat, Pemerintah
Provinsi, Pemerintah Kota/Daerah, Lembaga Pemerintah/Swasta dan Organisasi
Kemasyarakatan. DGAL menjabat selama satu tahun masa pengabdian Rotary dan
dapat ditugaskan maksimal 3 kali berturut–turut tahun pengabdian Rotary.

QUALIFICATIONS
KUALIFIKASI

1. Member of a healthy Rotary Club in District 3420.

2. Have full requirements for membership in accordance with the terms of
membership requirements and have classification and integrity.

3. Has been an active Rotary member for at least 5 years at the time of appointment
as District Government Affairs Liaison (DGAL).

4. Has served as Club President for 1 full year.

5. Rotarians who are well known by the people in their area.

6. Have the ability to act as a liaison between Rotary International and the local
community.

masyarakat di wilayahnya.

7. Have a good relationship with the Central Government, Provincial Government,
City/Regional Government, Government/Private Institutions and other local and
international Community Organizations.

8. District Government Affairs Liaison (DGAL) oversees certain areas determined by
the District Governor.

District Government Affairs Liaison (DGAL) membawahi wilayah tertentu yang
ditetapkan oleh District Governor.

9. District Government Affairs Liaison (DGAL) is a functional position whose
existence is required by District Governor D.3420, and is not a structural position
that has been determined by Rotary International in the Manual of Procedures,
Code of Policies and Rotary By Laws.

District Government Affairs Liaison (DGAL) adalah jabatan fungsional yang
keberadaannya bila diperlukan oleh District Governor D.3420, dan bukan
jabatan struktural yang sudah ditetapkan oleh Rotary International dalam
Manual of Procedures, Code of Policies dan Rotary By Laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TANGGUNG JAWAB

1. Assist the District Governor in opening up opportunities for collaboration between
Rotary Clubs in their area and other organizations outside Rotary, including the
Central/Provincial/Regional/City Governments, and others.

Membantu District Governor membuka kesempatan kerjasama antara Rotary
Club diwilayahnya dengan organisasi lain diluar Rotary, termasuk Pemerintah
Pusat/Provinsi/Kabupaten/Kota, dan lain-lain.

2. Represent and/or assist the District Governor in front of the community and
provide information about Rotary to the community.

Mewakili dan/atau mendampingi District Governor di depan masyarakat dan
memberikan informasi mengenai Rotary kepada masyarakat.

3. Help motivate and inspire Rotary Clubs and Rotarians to provide better services
to communities in their area.

Membantu memberikan motivasi dan inspirasi kepada Rotary Club dan
Rotarians untuk memberikan layanan yang lebih baik kepada masyarakat di
wilayahnya.

Assistant Governor’s Role and Responsibilities

Peran dan Tanggung Jawab Assistant Governor

As an assistant governor, your role on the district team is crucial. You're the connection
between your clubs and the district, and you're the main support person for clubs in
your area. The relationships you build with club leaders make Rotary stronger.

Sebagai Assistant Governor, peran Anda dalam tim District sangat penting. Anda
