WHO'S WHO Julie Loyd as Alison Julie is thrilled to be making her FCS debut with the absolute best team. As a founding member of Westport Pride and a queer performer, this is an especially meaningful production. She re-entered the theater scene after a 20-year hiatus in Curtain Call’s A Christmas Story (Mother), 1776 (Abigail Adams), and Cabaret (Fraulein Kost). Loyd is also an award-winning songwriter (John Lennon Songwriting Contest) and has a new album coming out in October available on all streaming platforms! (www.julieloydmusic.com) Big thanks to her family and Love for the opportunity to squish so much beauty into this one life. Lindsay Protsko as Medium Alison Lindsay is thrilled to be participating in her third production with Fairfield Center Stage! You might have seen her play Lily in A Christmas Carol Experience, or featured in the 2023 Playathon. Other favorite shows Lindsay has done are RENT (Maureen) and Peter and the Starcatcher (Molly Aster). Lindsay is a freshman at UCONN Stamford studying Psychology, but she has a huge love for theater. She is infinitely grateful for her family, friends, directors and costars for the endless support, love and fun she’s had along the way. Iris Brady as Small Alison Iris is new to drama and her debut role was this summer as Chum in Finding Nemo Jr. She then went on to play the lead in Matilda Jr. She plays the trumpet and piano and also goes to Rockwell Dance Center. She also likes to read, draw and make slime. She’d like to thank her parents for sending her to FCS camp so she has this amazing opportunity to perform in this show. WHO'S WHO Robert Agis as Bruce Robert has starred in plays and musicals including Guys and Dolls (Sky), She Loves Me (Georg), Oklahoma (Curly), and Picnic (Hal). Robert studied acting at The William Esper Studio and holds degrees in piano performance and music composition. Robert Agis is also an author. Watch for two of his children’s books coming soon from Candlewick Press. Thank you to Fairfield Center Stage for the opportunity to perform in this beautiful show. Samantha Moore as Helen Samantha is thrilled to be part of her third show with Fairfield Center Stage! Locally, she has also performed with St. Catherine’s Players, Square Foot Theater and Curtain Call. Favorite roles include Princess Fiona in Shrek, Marian the Librarian in The Music Man, Nina in A Merry Mulberry Street Musical, Vivian Kensington in Legally Blonde and Rosemary in How to Succeed…Many thanks to the entire team behind Fun Home, the amazing cast, and to my own family quintet for supporting and encouraging me every day (and days and days). Cheyenne Perez as Joan Cheyenne is so excited to perform in this amazing show. This is her first time featuring in a Fairfield Center Stage show, inspired to audition after seeing the company's performance of A Christmas Carol Experience last December. It is also her return to theater since graduating from Arcadia University in 2020. WHO'S WHO Josh Elliott Pickel as Roy/ Mark / Peter / Bobby Jeremy Josh is delighted to be playing Roy/Pete/Mark/Bobby Jeremy in Fun Home with Fairfield Center Stage. He has previously worked on theatrical productions such as The Wizard of Oz (Hunk/Scarecrow), A Murder is Announced (Edmund Swettenham), and Shakespeare on the Green’s The Tempest (Adrian). Josh has studied with Stella Adler Studio of Acting, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and is pursuing a BFA at The University of Connecticut with a concentration in Film production. Josh would like to thank his parents and friends for their endless support of his passion for acting. CJ Newsom as John CJ is excited to be in his twenty fourth show before age 9! He is a fourth grader who loves Roblox, Disney, Nintendo, baseball, singing, and dancing at Rockwell Dance Center. Some favorite past roles have included three years as Tiny Tim in FCS’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL EXPERIENCE, Plankton in SPONGEBOB: YOUNG ACTORS EDITION, Bruce in MATILDA JR, Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID JR, and Crush in FINDING NEMO JR. Thanks to the whole FUN HOME team, Mom and Dad, and his little sister, Melody. Muhammad Ali Sarr as Christian Muhammad is happy to be a part of this exciting production. He has appeared in other FCS productions such as A Christmas Carol Experience, The Sound of Music and other Fairfield Summer Stage productions including The Addams Family: Young @ Part Edition and Matilda Jr.. Ali loves to play soccer and is part of his school chorus. Emily Yates as Alison / Medium Alison Understudy Emily is thrilled to be understudying for this incredibly talented cast! Emily most recently performed as Puck in Eastbound Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Charlotte in The Little Theatre of Manchester’s Pride and Prejudice. Other favorite roles include Carla/ Caroline in Go Back for Murder, the chorus in The Trojan Women, Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Catherine in The Memory of Water. WHO'S WHO *Samuel Matis as John / Christian Understudy Samuel is happy to have the opportunity to be able to help with the show! He has previously been in Fairfield Summer Stage’s Puffs,Jr., Seussical,Jr. and The Addams Family,Jr.. He also had a role in the Fairfield Summer Stage production of Cats,Jr.. Samuel enjoys playing piano and violin, as well as playing rugby. Suraya Noonan as Small Alison Understudy Suraya, a dedicated member of FCS, lives, breathes and sleeps the arts, having already appeared in over 20 shows. This is her first-time understudying, in the role of Small Alison. CREW WHO'S WHO Todd Santa Maria Director / Choreographer Todd has performed, choreographed and directed with theater groups in CT, NY and MA. Directing credits include:Jekyll & Hyde, La Cage Aux Folles, Disaster, Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, Oklahoma, bare, Mamma Mia, Spring Awakening and The Drowsy Chaperone. Select acting credits include: Doubt, Red, The Importance of Being Earnest, Fully Committed, The Normal Heart, The Producers, A Chorus Line, The Taming of the Shrew, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, The Little Dog Laughed, Corpus Christi, Camelot and Peter & the Starcatcher. Eli Newsom Executive Producer / Music Director Along with running day-to-day operations for Fairfield Center Stage, Eli staffs and supports all of the production teams throughout the season. He is former Producing Artistic Director of both Downtown Cabaret Main Stage Theatre (2015-18) and Bridgeport Theatre Company (2010-15), where he produced approximately 40 shows. He served as Director at Fairfield Teen Theatre for seven years, and he works as a Music Director for various Fairfield county school productions throughout the year. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, after many years in non-profit and professional theatre as a singer/actor/dancer he eventually discovered he much prefers directing and producing. Eli is a proud resident of downtown Fairfield with wife Christy (also FCS Artistic Director!), kids CJ (who plays John in this show) and Melody, and dogs Abby and Fozzie Bear. Thanks to Christy, Todd, our hosts at Trevi Lounge, and the entire production team and cast for this collaboration. Christy McIntoshNewsom Artistic Director / Costume Designer Christy is overjoyed to be working on such a beautiful show with this incredible cast and staff. In the Costumes department, Christy has designed recent FCS productions La Cage aux Folles, A Christmas Carol, Dreamgirls, and our educational shows, such as Cats: Young Actors Edition and The SpongeBob Musical: Young Actors Edition. Christy is also the Drama Director at Fairfield Ludlowe High School and a private voice and audition coach. CREW WHO'S WHO Marcelle Morrisey Stage Manager / Assistant Director Marcelle is thrilled to be a part of this beautiful production. She is a Teacher in Fairfield and also likes to direct and teach theatre in her free time. Some of her previous credits include; Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer/Ensemble), SpongeBob (Mayor of Bikini Bottom), A Christmas Carol (Caroler, Bonds), Mamma Mia (Lisa/Sophie U/S), Sound of Music (Ensemble), Rent (Maureen Johnson), Godspell (Day By Day), Seussical The Musical (Cat In The Hat), Grease (Jan), and many others. She would like to thank everyone who was involved in this show for all their hard work! Enjoy! Kelley Wright Scenic Designer After performing as an actor with FCS, Kelley began assisting work on the sets for La Cage Aux Folles, and Guys and Dolls. She co-designed FCS’s Finding Nemo Jr., Addams Family, & Matilda. Kelley started Set Designing in theater with the world premier of Lee Murphy’s Monkey Grass in Los Angeles. She worked in television and film as an Art Director, Set Decorator, and Production Designer for over 20 years. Her credits include The Bonnie Hunt Show, HBO Comedy Festivals, the SAG awards, Grammys, and the Oscars twice. She won an Art Department Emmy for the 75th Oscars. Don Rowe Lighting Designer Don is thrilled to be working live theater again!! And he’s also happy to be back in Connecticut again; Texas just isn’t for him y’all. CREW WHO'S WHO Chris Gensur Sound Designer Chris has been working in professional theatre since Sept. 2000. This is his first full season as the resident sound designer for FCS. He was the sound engineer/sound designer at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre from July 2009 to March 2020 [when the pandemic hit]. He has worked with Eli & Christy on countless shows. In Feb. 2020, Chris upgraded from sound board operator to Writer with The Three Pigs at the Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, CT. Brian Bish Social Media / Company Manager Brian is honored to be a part of the Fairfield Center Stage team!
