June Newsletter

Red and Yellow Creative Ilustrated Classroom Newsletter

St Anthony's June 2024 Newsletter Dear Parents and Carers, Welcome to our final newsletter of the session 2023- 2024, and indeed my final communication to you as Head Teacher. After 37 years in the profession, this has been a difficult decision to take. However, given my expanding family, I would now like to take the opportunity to spend more time with them while I am fit and able. Having led St. Anthony’s Primary School since August 2015, I am immensely proud of our school and extended community. I have been privileged to work alongside a superb Senior Management Team and wonderful staff for nine years. Parents, carers and our wider community have also provided consistent support for which I remain extremely grateful. Most importantly, I have thoroughly enjoyed and cherished being part of your child’s primary school journey. It has been an honour and privilege to be part of this school community and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the contributions that you have made while I have been in post, it has been much appreciated. I have loved working in the school every day and I will miss you all staff, parents and our shining stars. As ever, let us all keep Working Together for Excellence. Kind regards Shirley May Carr
