ST ANTHONY’S PRIMARY
SCHOOL AUGUST 2022

NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to our first newsletter of this session.
It has been lovely to see the return of your children after a longer than usual Summer Break.
Your children look incredibly smart in their school uniforms and I would like to thank you for
your assistance in this area.
We look forward to an exciting year ahead filled with lots of engaging experiences for your
children
As always, please do not hesitate to get in touch if there are any issues you want to talk about.
Kind regards.
Shirley May Carr

Outdoor Learning News

The development of Outdoor Learning is in our School Improvement Plan (a copy of
which can be found at our school office).
In doing this, we will strive to engage our young people in sustainable development
education. Over the last year, our school garden has gone from strength to strength. We
have raised beds which are producing food that we are using in our school kitchen. Our
polytunnel was also a great area for our children to work in. Due to strong winds last
year, this was taken down but we hope to have it back up and functional in the near
future.
