Councils As mentioned in previous newsletters, our whole school councils continue to go from strength to strength. All councils have now set targets for the rest of the session and these are on display in our dining hall. The work of our councils has not gone unnoticed. We were delighted to welcome to welcome staff and pupils from Annick Primary School in Irvine last Friday who wanted to hear about all the fabulous work our councils do. The children from Annick were very impressed with the range of areas we cover and the relationships we build through this multistage leadership opportunity and they have now shared lots of great ideas to set up councils in their school with their Head Teacher. Article 17- I have the right to get information in lots of ways, so long as it’s safe Burns Supper On Friday 27th January P6 and P7 led our annual Burns Supper. This was a great event where all who attended were treated to haggis, neeps and tatties, followed by tablet and shortbread cooked and served by our superb catering team. After this, they were entertained by the performance of various Burns poems. A huge thanks must go to Mrs McCrory and Miss McCulloch for organising this event and to Mr McClumpha who joined us to pipe in the children and then the haggis.
