Robins' Nest 2016 Annual Report

Transforming the Lives We Touch Annual Report 2016

2

Our Mission
Protecting children, strengthening families, and empowering our
communities through innovative, life-enhancing services.

At Robins’ Nest we offer more than treatments, we offer transformations.

Transforming the Lives We Touch –

Together

Dear Friends and Family,

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the many talented staff
and volunteers who make up our Robins’ Nest family, we would like
to thank you for your commitment and partnership in advancing
our mission of protecting children, strengthening families, and
empowering the communities in which they live. Together we are truly
transforming the lives we touch, and we are humbled and grateful
for your continuous dedication to making lives across southern New
Jersey happier and healthier.

2016 was another milestone year for Robins’ Nest as we introduced
several new and innovative programs and services to South Jersey
families, opened new locations across the region, and grew our
professional family by 45 new positions. Collectively, this growth
enabled us to provide life-saving and enhancing services to 11,175
South Jersey children and families. We are proud of the opportunities
that this growth has given us to transform the lives of so many in our
community. In strengthening the lives of those we touch today, we
are enhancing and improving our communities for many years to
come. The enduring impact of our programs can be measured across
generations, as we consistently put an emphasis on solving problems
now to create bright futures.

Your support of our programs and services makes all the difference to
our children and families. Together, we will continue to transform lives
each and every day.

Sincerely,

Dr. Anthony DiFabio Robert B. Nolan
President and CEO Board Chairman

A Commitment to the
Community

No matter your
situation, when
you come to
Robins’ Nest, you
find someone
who cares.

New moms and their babies are visited weekly by a nurse
and guided through this exciting and sometimes scary time!
Teens and young adults are provided a safe place to stay or
someone to hold them accountable as they work to get their
life on track. Families are supported through a challenging
journey, as a child transitions into a foster or adoptive home.
Immediate support helps families work through a crisis and
find resources to avoid it from happening again. Housing is
provided to end the cycle of homelessness for young adults
and vulnerable families.

In 2016, Robins’ Nest served 11,175 residents in
the state of New Jersey

Our Programs and Services

We are very proud of the wide array of services that our experienced workers, therapists and
clinicians are providing every day and our commitment to ensuring that our children and families
receive the best and most appropriate care. We aim to build people up and allow them to
