Ms.Aditi Misra, President RWYC Asia India,
Director Principal, DPS Gurgaon , India

Culture and education are two inseparable,
interdependent parameters. Culturally
responsive educators help students
understand and take pride in their own
culture and appreciate the diverse cultures
of the world. Reconnecting With Your
Culture- RWYC provides the educators with
a toolkit for strengthening local identities,
awareness and respect for cultural heritage.
This collaborative journey with RWYC has
opened vistas of exploration for the young
minds across geographical landscapes. We
are happy to be a part of this insightful
journey with likeminded leaders across the
world.

Prof. Olimpia Niglio, Global Director, RWYC

The pedagogical program “Reconnecting with your Culture” began its
journey in July 2020 and after less than two years RWYC has grown all
over the world and in India, we have many Ambassadors of Culture.
This project allows the development of the cognitive, social, and moral
skills of every human being. Respecting local cultures, and the
traditions of each person, the pedagogical method builds a favorable and
welcoming environment where each child can discover and learn their
own culture and transmit it to others. In India, as well as in many
countries of the world, we are helping to create communities become
aware of their cultural heritage, leaving children free to work at their
own pace and interests, exercising their creativity, and thus developing a
democratic personality open to the world.
The RWYC method guides children to learn all fields of knowledge,
from practical life activities to science, music, and languages.
Each educational material, made with the masters, invites the discovery
of a characteristic of the world and nature, brings together the cognitive
and immaterial aspects of learning with the physical and material one,
and promotes concentration, self-discipline, and love for the miracle of
life.
So, Creativity, Culture, and Community are the three great “Cs” with
which all together we will build a better world. Thanks, INDIA, thanks
to our fantastic teachers, and thanks to our Ambassadors of Culture.
Together, WE CAN.

Ms. Mira Sartika - RWYC Indonesia

RWYC is most real program and an incredible
heartwarming network for cultural connectivity
around the world. Through this program our
children reconnect again with their own local
culture and at the same time they are proud to share
their local culture to others within the nation and
abroad. Personally, through this program I could
reconnect to amazing people from around the world
who are committed and persistent to educate the
younger generation about the importance of culture
in human life and beyond. We should continue this
inspiring journey together, and I am honoured to be
part of it.

Mural Paintings date back to the times beyond the pages of history. The word ‘mural’
derived from the Latin word ‘murus’ which means wall. It can be defined as any piece
of artwork painted or applied directly onto a wall. To understand the history of the
murals an online workshop was organized by INTACH (Indian National trust for Art
& Cultural Heritage) and Spic Macay, (Society for the promotion of Indian classical
