The Functions of Minor Monuments in Mining and Post-Mining Landscapes
Adoption of the European Landscape Convention at the beginning
of the new millennium was one of the impulses for rediscovering
the shared interests of environmentalism and cultural heritage
protection in Czechia. The attempt to address conservation of the
cultural landscape values through restoration of minor monuments
played a major role in this effort [1-3].
