We have seven or five hours on Monday.

First is a music. Music is easy, but I dont´t like music.
After the music lesson there is a French.
It´s my favorite hour.

Then goes Slovak language, maths, history and then we have
a lunch.
After the lunch we go home or back to the classroom for art.
Tuesday is easy day.
The first is biology and then goes physical education.
After physical education goes my favorite subject (French).
Then goes slovak language, medial education and English
language.

Wednesday is an easy day, too. We have only five hours.
First is maths, then goes geography, english language, slovak
language and technic. Technik is new subject for me.
On Thursday we have english language and then goes maths,
PE, slovak language, ICT and ethic.
Friday is my favorite day. Friday is end of working week.
We have geography, maths, biology, slovak language and
French.

Hello my name is Jakub. I‘m in class 5.C at Smeralova primary
school. It’s big school. There are lot of students. I live close
to school and I’m at school usually in 4 minutes. We have

middle big class. I like to learn in it. My favourite lessons

are biology and history. History is on Monday and biology
on Tuesday and Friday. I’m not very good at maths. I like

PE too and I love art and design in which I’m quite good.
My favourite day is Friday because we have biology and it‘
s last day of school. We have three days of five lessons
and we have two days of six lessons. We have one double
lesson on Monday and it is art and design. We have
English language on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
too. Our teachers are really good and kind. English
language with Mrs Cancinova is very cool. We are 18 in
our class and we have 9 teachers teaching us. My best
friend is Filip. We don’t wear uniforms at our school. We
are learning from our homes at present days which is
really pity because we cannot see each other physically.
I hope we could go to school soon.

MY SCHOOL

I like school because I have friends there, good teachers and
director. I like that our school has a large and nice playground. I like that
our school has clean and beautiful decorated classrooms. Our teachers
explain everything to us in details. I have best friends I can have here.

I really like it, when we have some social events and trips are a lot
of fun. I really like all teachers, they are very nice and teach us all well. I
really like English (language), because when I'm older, I would like to
study in England or America, and it is a very beautiful language .

I also like how they cook at school. They usually cook well and
food tastes good. Last year we had ski training an it was awesome. Also
we have annually carnival where all school is wearing masks at a big
dance party. Our school organises lots of different sport events. After
classes we can choose from many after school activities . I love this
school, it is cool .

ME AND MY SCHOOL

Hello, my name is Matyas, I´m ten years old and I like football,

video games and sometimes I like school too. My school is

elementary school Smeralova in Presov and Im in the 5th grade.

In our class we are 18 pupils, we are 10 boys and 8 girls. My

favorite subject is probably PE because we play football on it

sometimes and its really fun. My favorite classmates are Tobias and Christopher I like them

a lot because theyre funny sometimes and they can play football good too like me so I can

play with them. I´m good at PE , ICT and maths and I´m not very

good at Biology and art and design because I really dont like

that subjects. My favourite day at school when we have normal

lessons is Friday because we have only 5 lessons and some

lessons in it is lessons that I like,(I mean in school because

now we have online school) and at online school is my favourite day Thursday because we

have only 2 lessons and thats lessons that I probably like (english and slovakian language).

I dont like school day Monday because in normal school we have 7 lessons in Monday and at

online school we have 3 lessons, 2 of them are kinda bad for me. Lunch at our school is

disgusting for me but sometimes I like the lunch but it is so rare for me when its good lunch at

school.

When I was only at 1-4th grade I was in like I dont know if its word in english for it but its

something like club for the kids that stay in school to like 3 pm

and then they are allowed to go home and at that club we

were playing football at playground sometimes with kids

that was with us on playground they were at our club and

they were only 1 grade lower so girls played girly things

and almost every boy at club played football with us. At our school we dont wear uniforms

basically only if its show or things like show. Me and my classmates have double lesson at one

Monday from two weeks so one time we have 5 lessons in Monday but next week we have 7

lessons because there is double lesson every two weeks at Monday. Our English teachers

name is Slavka Cancinova and our class teacher is Melania Grocka. The teacher that I like most
of all is Martina Bryndzova but all teachers are good that are learning us. Generally I pretty
like school but sometimes I really dont like it because of tests and homeworks that are really
long but as I was saying i pretty like school because I got
friends there and theyre doing it better for me so its not that
boring because I have friends in class.

My subjects

We have got English on Thursday. It´s my favorite subject because I´ve got English class after
school. Mrs. Čančinová is our teacher. I also like Math. We have got math on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. Mrs. Feldmanová is our teacher. I hate Biology. I don´t like talking about
nature. But at least I learn something from it. Mrs. Bryndzová is teacher of this subject. She also
teaches us about French (language). It is pretty easier then English. We have got French on
Tuesday. Geography is only subject from science which I like. Mrs. Birošová is little strict on us.
We have it on Wednesday. I also liked ICT. But we had this subject only twice this year. Our
teacher wasn´t strict at all. Our teacher was Mrs. Smolinková.

I found many friends at school but my greatest one is Tobias. He came in 2nd grade. He is
funny and he is fast at writing, reading, but he makes mistakes very often. His photo:

My favorite day is Friday because I am tired of school after week and I can finally rest. Art is
only double lesson and I like it. We can draw and do our ideas (sometimes). Our teacher is Mrs.
Grocka.

My name’s Sebastian. I am in 5.C class at Smeralova primary school. The school day is from about
8:00 to about 13:30. In my class there are 18 students. Our classroom is on third floor. My favorite

school subjects is Information and Communication Technology and Physical

Education . I´m bad at Geography . We have got my favorite
school subjects on Thursday.

We don’t wear a uniform . We have got doublelesson on Monday. It’s Art

. Wednesday and Friday is short day. We have only five lessons. My

favorite day is Friday, because starting weekend . I’m good at Maths , Information

and Communication Technology, Slovak language. We have break at nine forty. All childrens have a

packet snack from home. We have lunch at school after teaching.

Most pupils have lunch at school. I have my lunch at home. Our class teacher is Mrs Melánia Grocká.

She is very nice and friendly. She learn us these subjects: Art, Literature, Slovak language

and Medial Education. Our teacher of Maths is Mrs Milena Feldmanová, English is Mrs Slávka

Čančinová, French and Biology is Mrs Martina Bryndzová, Geographic is Mrs Eva Birošová, History is

Mrs Janka Beľušková and Music is Mrs Ingrid Wittnerová. We´ve got one teacher man. His name is

Mr Radoslav Maľcovský . He learn us Physical Education. We have two lessons of PE a week. I like

play soccer in the sommer and ice skating in the winter. My best

friends are Jakub, Krištof, Matyas and Tobias. I like playing games with their on a mobile phone and

computer.

good teacher and I like it. I´m good at art, becauce I have rich fantasy. I like to draw and to paint. I´m
good at French and Music. I like Slovak language but I´m bad at grammar. My favourite day is Friday.

I am a pupil in zš Šmeralova. I like most of the subjects. I like biology, french,
maths, history and PE. The teachers on our school are great. I dont like the
slovak language subject so much. Our class is big. If we couldn’t go outside in
summer, I think it would be no problem because our big class. We have a big
school yard. Its good playing soccer there.our principal is also good. He gives us
vacations over time . I dont really like homeworks. I would rather do more
at school than do homeworks at home. Our class is at the top of stairs. I dont
like going up and down every day, but i like racing to the class on the stairs .

elementary school. I’m in class 5.C. My favourite subject is
Biology because I love animals. And I want to be vet. I’m bad

Hello, my name is Martin. In my school timetable, every day we have Slovak language.
My favourite subject is English language. We have Arts on Monday afternoon. From
Tuesday to Friday we have Slovak language on 4. period. My favourite day is ( if we went
to school that is ) Thursday. The sweetest teacher is our class teacher. I play on the guitar
so Music isn´t a challenge for me. A very fascinating subject is History. I don´t like
biology much. I draw so Arts is easy. I would like to go to school. I´m in the fifth grade.
I go to ZŠ Šmeralova 25. I would like to go to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and
Wizardry. I miss my old school in Montenegro and I miss my friends.
