Diwali Halloween

This month sees World Mental Health Day
on 10th October. With the day light hours
drawing in as the Summer comes to an end,
it can feel a touch of the Winter blues, but
what if it’s more than that?

You are by no means alone, approximately 1
in 4 people in the UK experience a mental
health problem in a year*. Talking about
how you feel can help, why not host a Tea &
Talk event and start to banish the stigma
around mental health problems?

On 16th October emergency services around
the country will be volunteering their time
to teach school children how to use CPR to
save a life. Yorkshire based First Aid trainers
are offering Minerva House tenants;

1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course
Any of the Leeds scheduled course venues
Offer cost to Minerva tenants = £99 inc VAT
