This programme provides students with a strong foundation in the basic sciences (anatomy,
physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology)

Entry Requirement at least:

Certificate holder with 1 year experience in related fields

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology/ Medical Assistants/ Radiography/Nursing

• Bachelor in Biomedicine/ Nursing AND

Advance Diploma in Cardiac Nursing (ADCN) and Advance Diploma in Paediatric
Cardiac Nursing (ADPCN) is a skill based higher learning programme that
implements a one (1) year full time academic calendar with three (3) semesters.

Entry Requirements

LOCAL STUDENTS

• Possess in minimum Diploma in Nursing
• Registered with Nursing Board Malaysia (NBM)
• Minimum 2 years clinical working experiences; and
• Possess a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses;
• Possess 3 months experience in the related specialty

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

• Possess Diploma in Nursing (MQF Level 4) from recognized institutions.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of the country origin.
• Possess a current temporary practicing certificate (TPC) from NMB prior clinical placement
• Minimum of two years clinical working experience in the related specialty; or
• Possess three months experience in the related specialty; and
• Pass International English Language Test Services (IELTS) with minimum 5.5 or Test of English as

a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum of 515/215/80
