Terlebih dahulu, saya ingin mengucapkan tahniah dan syabas kepada semua ahli jawatankuasa Pesta Tanglung Kajai Chinese Club 2023 yang bertekad dalam menjayakan pengajuran program ini. Saya pasti bahawa segala usaha yang dicurahkan akan menjayakan program ini dan dapat menarik perhatian seluruh warga kampus dan masyarakat. Perayaan Kuih Bulan atau Perayaan Pertengahan Musim Luruh, ialah perayaan tradisional yang disambut oleh masyarakat Cina pada hari ke-15 bulan ke-8 dalam kalendar Lunar. Mengikut budaya kaum Cina, Perayaan Kuih Bulan mewakili pertemuan semula, kesyukuran dan kerinduan, pada masa yang sama melambangkan keharmonian, perpaduan dan masa depan yang cerah. Dalam meraikan perayaan ini, individu yang sibuk akan berkumpul dengan keluarga untuk menikmati kuih bulan, membawa tanglung di bawah bulan purnama. Perayaan ini memberi kesempatan kepada masyarakat untuk mengeratkan silaturahim sesama keluarga dan meningkatkan keharmonian dalam kalangan bangsa yang pelbagai di Malaysia. Pesta Tanglung Kajai Chinese Club 2023 merupakan salah satu inisiatif untuk memberi pendedahan kepada warga kampus yang berbilang kaum untuk memahami, menghargai serta menghormati budaya dan tradisi masyarakat Malaysia. Melalui program ini, sikap toleransi, bertolah ansur dan perpaduan dalam kalangan mahasiswa-mahasiswi dapat diperkukuhkan. Bukan itu sahaja, program ini juga dapat menggalakkan interaksi dan memupuk hubungan yang lebih rapat antara warga kampus. Warm colors such as yellow and orange are used to emphasise the cozy and heartwarming ambience of the Mid-Autumn Festival. In addition, the logo incorporates traditional elements of the festival including the full moon, lanterns, jade rabbit and mooncake to manifest a unique image. The bright full moon and the round shape of mooncake symbolise reunion and unity, often regarded as one of the most beautiful and sacred symbols; Culturally, mooncakes are given to loved ones during the festival to express their gratitude and blessings; The colorful lanterns represent joy and liveliness with a touch of joy and warmth to the Mid-Autumn Festival; The adorable jade rabbit represents loyalty and kindness due to the folklore that the jade rabbit has been faithfully serving the Jade Emperor and done plenty of good deeds in the mortal world, making it representative of hard work and perseverance.
