GREEN UNIT/ COMMITTEE

SK Medini is very concerned about the
Sustainability issues in various programs especially
in the school's Resource Center. The involvement of
educators and students is fully supported by
parents and local communities. This sustainability
effort is conducted in schools and outside as well.
This effort is supported through a corporate sector
project through the Corporate Social Responsibility
program named Medini Mind CSR Program.

Among other things, we implement the Edible

Several green innovation projects like Magic Cube
and Art Xcess Library are also presented in both
domestic and international conferences such as in
Labuan, Bali and Japan. This innovation and green
project has also won medal a number of times.

In addition, the participation of world-class festivals
is accompanied by Edible Festival, Medini Live,
Asean Festival Children Content, Singapore and
Ubud Writers Reader Festival in Bali.
Our great efforts have also been recognized and
awarded through the SDG4 - Quality Education
Award at the Global Sustainable Summit & Award
under the auspices of Project Education with

What can be concluded, from all our projects based
on our philosophy of ‘Nature, learning beyond the
four walls’. The project also attempts to fulfill the
win-win situation with the concept of all in one
conducted jointly, namely the development of
literacy, preservation and holistic kids
development. It is also important not just to give
awareness consciousness to the environment and
its invention, but it is meritorious for the
achievement of children in the academic system
that can be used as a future reference.

In the field of education it coincides with STEAM
(Science, Technology Engineering, Art &
Mathemathic). Paper Engineering is not yet widely
available in Malaysia and Asean countries, especially
the use of pop-up books as teaching and learning
mediums.
As Malaysian Leading Paper Engineer (Pop Up Book
Maker) @ library teacher, I am proud to represent
Malaysia and Asean with the opportunity given as a
presenter to share the innovation of pop up books in
STEAM and education.
