Hello!! My name is Addie Lander. I am a 7th grader
at BWMS.
Shoutout: My Mom (Laura), My dad (Joel), Ayla,
My fellow actors, and my friends and family
Quote: "Middle school is kind of like Middle-earth.
It’s a magical journey filled with elves, dwarves,
hobbits, queens, kings, and a few corrupt wizards.
Word to the wise: pick your traveling companions
well. Ones with the courage and moral fiber to
persevere. This way, when you pass through the
congested hallways rife with pernicious diversion,
you achieve your desired destination—or at least
your next class." - Kimberly Dana
Leela Sandler
as Katie, Sue

play!
Shoutout: Ms. Wehmeyer for being the most
awesome theater teacher ever, and putting together
a play in such a short amount of time and all online!
Quote: "If you want to go fast go alone. If you want
to go far go together" - African proverb

Quote: "I regard the theater as the greatest of all art
forms the most immediate way in which a human
being can share with another the sense of what it is
to be a human being." - Oscar Wilde

Notes from the Director
2020 has been a year of change and adjustment and as a result,
performance will be looking a little different this year.
I had thoughts of postponing the 20/21 drama season because of the
silliness of the world until I got an email from a kiddo asking when
the next production will be. I decided from then on I will do my best
to make that happen.
We start our season with the One Act Drama play called "The 11th,"
which is a reflection and tribute to the events of Sept. 11th, 2001.
Many have asked if it is a good idea to do this content with the world
events going on, and can you pull this off in 2 days...
My answer to them is, if there's a will and way. We in the Brittany
Woods Drama Department can make things happen.
My cast of 4 brilliant performers took the challenge to make an
impact for you all to see a glimmer of the events of tragedy and that
as a united community we can overcome everything.
Challenge is the theme of my direction this year because with
challenge comes growth, and with growth comes purpose.
Thank you for showing up and let the show begin -Wehmeyer
