Apart from Lataji, we have lost her co-Singer in Meri Awaaz hi Pehchan hai, the other legend Shri Bhupinder Singh. And two another Music Legend and Music Wizards- Shri Shivkumar Sharma and Shri Alokesh Aparesh Lahiri, popularly known as Bappi Lahiri. Hamare 18 aise udaar Members rahe jinhone MCAI ko lagbhag 2 Lakh ke aaspas rashi di aur ye rashi hamne un members mein baat di jinhein zaroorat thi. MCAI ki ye aap sab se guzarish hai ki aap aage aayein aur sahayataa rashi dete rahein jisase apni community bhi strong hoti hai aura age badh
10 sakti hai. pandemic ke dauran hi MCAI ne ek Ration Kit ka bhi initiative liya tha aur iske liye Mr Kailash Kher ke Kailasha Foundation ka sahyog liya aur 350 se zyada Ration Kit Members, Unke Friends yahan tak ki anya Associations jaise ki SWA, CMA ke members ko bhi Distribute kiye. MCAI ko Fakhra hai ki hamne aise samay pe apne members ki Sahayta ki jab unhein behad zaroorat thi. Ration Kit ke liye kayi sadasy apni Car se aaye aur ye Kit lekar gaye aur is se andhaza lagaya ja sakta hai ki tab kisko kya zaroorat rahi hogi. Jaise ki ham sabhi jante hain ki desh Swadheenta ki 75th jayanti mana raha hai to aise mein hamari Female wing ne desh ko samarpit ek geet taiyaar kiya, jiska sheershak tha “Maatram” Is geet ko Ms Sangeeta Pant, Rajlakshmi Sanjay aur Vijayaa Shanker ji ne compose kiya. Is Rashtrabhakti geet ko bade Jazbaat ke sath likha Ms Sangeeta Pant ne. Ek baar phir ye tathy sajha karte hue mujhe khushi ho rahi hai ki hamare association mein aaj 100 se bhi zyada Female Composers hain aur iske liye MCAI feels very proud and feels very positive because it is all about women empowerment and we just feel that everybody is equal when its come to a community and there is no difference between a Film Composer or an advertising composer or a TV Composer or a male or a female composer. Hamare liye har member ek jaisa hai. Isi ko celebrate karne ke liye hamari female wing ne ek aur gaana taiyaar kiya- Jaago Zara. Ye bhi kafi appreciate hua. Raviraj: Incidently our 100th Female Composer on record, Ms Merline D’Souza is here with us. Request you to please acknowledge the feat and welcome her with memento. Kaun kaun se naye artists apne kaam ko share kar rahe hain. Hamne ek special programme apne legendary Composer Shri Vanraj Bhatiaji par kiya. Ise bahut appreciate kiya gaya Pan india. Hamara “All About Music” ke sath jo ek association bana hua hai wo jaari hai humne ek baar phir unke sath apni partnership banaye rakhi aur hamare esteemed members ko unhonne as a speaker bulaya. Hamara association “CLEF” Music awards ke sath bhi raha. Hamare kai membres ko awrds bhi mile. “CLEF” Music Awards ne hamare members ke liye discounts bhi offer kiya. Our CA M/s Shital Mutha & Co. last 10 years se hamare sath hain. Badlav hona chahiye aur iske liye EC, house ki permission chahti hai ki yedi uchit hua toh CA badala ja sake, nahi hua to hamare Vartman CA ko hi continue rakhenge. 5.2 The recommendation to change the CA or to continue with the same auditor was accepted unanimously. 5.3 Proposed by Shri Seemant Dwivedi Seconded by Shri Arun Dhawankar Raviraj: With this we end the proceedings of our ordinary Business and now we take the Agenda pertaining with the Special Business. 6.0 5th Item on the Agenda is to discuss on Levies Structure and adopt the procedure and recovery of pending Dues. I start with a news that MCAI ke Legal Panel mein ab ek Lawyer Jud Gayi hain jo aap ki immediate Legal need ko sort out karengi. Sab Chahte the ki ek Lawer hamare pass hona chahiye jo day to day activities ke liye uplabdh rahe. Thanks to Mr Vipin Mishra and Mr Raviraj, Ms Pratiksha Kharwadkar hamari Legal Panel mein hain. Aap ko jo Contracts banvane hote hain hain, Ya kisi ko Legal Notice Bhejni Hai, Legal Advice Chahiye, toh uske liye ab hamare pass lawyer bhi hain jo bahut hi reasonable amount mein aapki legal zaroorat poori kar dengi. Har Member jo ki ‘Good Member’ hai wo ab apne 3 Contracts bina kisi Rashi ke Vet karva sakta hai, Details aapko MCAI ke Office se mil jayega. Sath hi jo Unreleased Tracks ya Songs jo aap MCAI ki website par Register karte hain, aur jiske liye abhi Rs 100 per song dene hote hain, sath mein GST bhi, wo ab se Free of charge register kiye jayenge. It’s really matter of pride that we have such members who pay their all dues in time, not only from Film Category but from TV Category as well. Humara Dispute settlement cell kayi barson se hai lekin tanik badlav ke baad aaj jo uske results hain wo sarahneey hain. During 2021 the DSC was busy in handling few Cases online. We tried and sorted out Some cases and I am very glad to share this fact that MCAI has attained the level where maximum disputes are settled as and when you say to the producers or the production houses or any defaulter or copycat that you are going to file a complaint in our Association ie. MCAI. The DSC was successful in concluding two such cases. Moreover, now the DSC is more aggressive with the inclusion of our Legal Team. We have straightened our legal cell and happy to announce that during this year we have sorted out some very interesting cases of Non-payment,
17 No-credit and advance refunds. Though these will be recorded in our next year’s annual report yet since Ms Sayali Khare’s case was Interesting, I want to share this with you all Aaj tabeeyat theek na hone se ve aa na saki, anyatha khud hi batati ve. Ladna nahi kahoonga sangharsh kar rahe the aur Javed Akhtar sahib ki athak koshishon se aaj ye sambhav hua hai ki Royalty ke rights kisi ko dena ya khareedna don hi criminal offence hain. So lagatar meetings, many meetings, discussions ke baad MCAI & IPRS board ke beech ek samjhauta hua hai. Ab BGM ke lie bhi royalty milegi based on certain ration. Har Country kea lag alag ratio hain. Aur jo samjhauta hua hai wo ye hai ki ek minut ke song ke mukable BGM ke 6 minuts mane jayenge. Yeh IPRS ki 2022 ki AGM mein accept ho gaya hai aur yeh 2021 se effective mana jayega. Toh Nivedan hai ki sabhi jo TV and Film BGM karte hain apni Cue-Sheets bharein aur jama karein. Mr. Tubby: Yahan main bata doon ki MCAI bhi aapko Cue-Sheet bharne mein madad karti hai, MCAI aapko IPRS ka bhi member banata hai yadi aap nahi hain. Mr. Tapas: Ab ye jo ration fixe hua hai jise hum 1:6 kahenge, ye agle 3 saal ke liye fixed hai. Iske baad IPRS ki income ke har 100 crores badhne par ye ration one

O B I T U A R Y Sharda Rajan 25 October 1933 – 14 June 2023 Vani Jairam 30 November 1945 – 4 February 2023 Mahesh Sharma 26th May 1952 – 6th August 2023 Shyam Jawda 17th August 1962 –24th April 2023 Sanjay Chandrasekhar 24th March 1972-28th August 2023 Sharda, whose full name was Sharda Rajan Iyengar , was most active in the 1960s and 1970s in the Hindi film music industry. Her most famous number was perhaps Titli Udi from Suraj, the 1966 film directed by T Prakash Rao. Composed by Shankar-Jaikishan, the song was picturised on actor Vyjayanthimala. Sharda also won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the cabaret track Baat Zara Hai Aapas Ki, featuring Helen, in Jahan Pyar Miley (1970). Her other song credits include Le Ja Le ... Born as Kalaivani, Vani Jairam was fondly referred to as the "Meera of modern India" Vani's career started in 1971 and has spanned over five decades. She did playback for over one thousand Indian movies recording over 10,000 songs. In addition, she recorded thousands of devotionals and private albums and also participated in numerous solo concerts in India and abroad. Renowned for her vocal range and easy adaptability to any difficult composition, Vani has often been the choice for several composers across India during 1970s- 1990s. Mahesh Ramprasad Sharma was the brother of Bollywood's legendary music duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal Mein Se Pyarelal. Mahesh sharma along with his friend kishore Sharma made many super hits with his music. Mahesh sharma was a music composer as well as an accomplished violin player. The song 'Sanam Bewafa' with kishore was a huge hit. Its song bangle will not make fun, bangle will not make fun...even today it is heard. Shyam Jawda had been a part of famous nusic composers duo Shyam-Surender. His partner and well known violinist and arranger Surender Singh Sodhi died in 2018. Though the duo had been separated way back and doing and practicing individually. Shyamji was a Life Member of Cine Musician"s Association ( Special Grade ) and also an Arranger. His along with Surender singh Sodhi, movies are: Elaan, Vishwasghaat, Gunehgar, Aulad Ke Dushman, Maine jeena Seekh Liya, Sanjay Chandrasekhar was known for Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Soorarai Pottru (2020) and Airlift (2016). He has been married to Rajalakshmee Sanjay and the duo has been working as Sanjay – Rajee. Sanjay Chandrasekhar, as a music producer, had worked with the likes of Maestro Illayaraja and Oscar-winner A. R. Rahman. His tamil film "Soorarai Pottru " had made its entry in to the Oscars, for best Original Score. Sanjay Chandrasekhar was also a very well known sound designer. Creating new sounds for the music market , for songs and tracks.
