a) Background of the business.

Business Background for Ros Bakery is a small business that operates at home since
2022. The founder of Ros Bakery is from Selangor and is also a strategic location
because it is close to residential areas. Ros Bakery makes 3 types of bread, namely
Honeycomb Bread, Chicken Floss Bread and Chocolate Bread. Each bread priced at
RM12 will get 16 units in 2022 because the ingredients for baking have gone up.

b) Problem face by the business.

- Baking ingredients are out of stock from suppliers.

The recent of economic crisis has affected sellers due to the dwindling and scarcity of
raw materials. Suppliers also lack of raw materials and are unable to supply and Mrs.
Ros unable to run a business as usual.

- Insufficient order quantity.

Sometimes after weighing the bread dough and ready to be baked, the quantity is
insufficient possibly due to each gram of bread weighed in excess of the prescribed
dosage. The weight of each bread dough is 16/17g, sometimes the weighing machine
runs away from this correct measure of scales which makes the bread dough weighed
incorrectly.

- The price of baking ingredients is increasing

Refer to the problems at the first point, these baking ingredients are difficult to find by
suppliers therefore, the price will rise sharply due to high demand. This affected Mrs.
Ros about the capital to continue her business.

c) Suggested solution for the problem
- Buy In Bulk

If there is a lot of stock from the supplier, Mrs. Ros will buy in bulk. So, there is no
need for to buy ingredients every time she wants to baked.
- Lose Weight
Mrs. Ros would weigh the bread less than usual, because the bread would expand and
there would be an overweight.
- Raise the Price
Mrs. Ros has already increased the price of bread to RM12 for 16 pieces because the
price of the ingredients keeps rising.

f) Conclusion
In my opinion, after we complete this task, we know that to be a good entrepreneur.
We need to be more confident in what we are doing or we want to be involved in this
field of entrepreneurship. Furthermore, we can share a good example to others on how
to be a good entrepreneur based on the example of a successful entrepreneur. We need
to draw conclusions in this task. In order to be a successful entrepreneur, it is not an
easy way to achieve. One of the recipes for success is that we need to be more careful
in predicting the right product in the market.
