Sheraton Manila Hotel is committed to achieving best practice environmental and social sustainability and has partnered with
EarthCheck, the world’s leading Benchmarking and Certification provider.
Sheraton Manila Hotel, part of Marriott International, Inc., is where the Sheraton tradition of hospitality
blends with the vibrancy of modern Manila. The Hotel is strategically located across from Ninoy Aquino
International Airport Terminal 3 and situated within Resorts World Manila which provides the finest
entertainment and nightlife. Sheraton Manila Hotel has 386 hotel rooms, 1 ballroom, 7 meeting rooms, 3
food & beverage outlets namely Oori, S Kitchen, and The Lounge, and a luxury spa and a scenic outdoor
pool.
At Sheraton Manila Hotel, we recognize the activities of our Hotel have potential for negative impacts on
the environment and community if not properly managed. As such, we have implemented an Environmental
Management System that meets the requirements of the EarthCheck Company Standard.
Sheraton Manila Hotel is committed to continual improvement measured by way of annual Benchmarking
Assessments. The team at Sheraton Manila Hotel strives towards minimizing our footprint on the
environment by implementing sustainable initiatives aimed at the improvement of the hotel’s performance,
reduction of use of Energy, Water and the production of Waste.

Hotel Rooms will comply with all relevant legislation and regulations, and aims to achieve international best
practice. We have appointed our Admin Assistant to the Chief Engineer as the EarthCheck Coordinator,
who has responsibility for improving the Hotel’s sustainable performance.
Special consideration will be given to employing and empowering local employees, and wherever possible
sustainable products and services will be sourced locally in accordance with Fair Trade principles.
We encourage staff to present our commitment to environmental and social sustainability to all key
stakeholders including guest, suppliers and contractors.
