CLASS 1B▪️NAVRATRI CELEBRATION Navaratri is an annual and one of the most revered Hindu festivals
observed in the honour of Mother Goddess Durga. It spans over nine nights (and ten days), first in the month
of Chaitra (March/April of the Gregorian calendar) and again in the month of Sharada. It is observed for
different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Hindu Indian cultural sphere.
Theoretically, there are four seasonal Navaratri. However, in practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival
called Sharada Navaratri. The festival is celebrated in the bright half of the Hindu calendar month Ashvin,
which typically falls in the Gregorian months of September and October. It takes place at the same time as
the Nine Emperor Gods Festival. Students of class 1B celebrated Navratri by dancing on the songs and
made beautiful drawings️ ♀️ related to the festival.

*Topic* - ADJECTIVES
Children should have a solid command of adjectives and
other terms of *descriptive language to communicate
successfully. *Adjectives are essential for describing and
differentiating*. They can *increase vocabulary, which is
highly predictive of children's subsequent achievement*, i.e.
children who arrive at school with good language skills have
better chances at school, better chances of entering higher
education, and better economic skills in adulthood.
*To achieve this goal, children of Class I C were being told
to write a story or a poem using adjectives*. Children came
up with beautiful imaginations and enjoyed doing this
activity.
