1. GENERAL
i. All correspondence should be addressed to T&J Events, 10 Kingscroft, Fleet, GU51
3NH.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
T&J Events will not begin work until this contract has been signed and returned and
payment for an agreed deposit amount cleared. Please refer to the payment terms
below:
i. 50% deposit amount of £1,350 to be paid immediately to secure the agreed
services for your wedding date and before work commences.
ii. Final instalment of £1,350 and any adjustments to be paid in full 6 weeks prior to
event date. T&J Events will send payment reminders to you 3 days prior to the
payment due dates.

3. SERVICES
i. A break down of the work to be carried out by T&J Events, as agreed by you, the
customer, has been attached to the Terms and Conditions and forms part of the
contract. (Services Breakdown)
ii. Additional services (outside of the Services Breakdown Scope) can be added to the
contract at a later stage; the cost of which will be added to the original contract
and added to the remainder of payment instalments. Please refer to appropriate
payment terms above.
iii. T&J Events will not be liable for the failure of suppliers to fulfil their agreed and
contracted services. However, the company will endeavour to correct shortcomings
created by suppliers on the day of your wedding event(s).
iv. Invoices raised on behalf of suppliers must be paid directly to the suppliers within
the written specified timeframe to ensure services are booked. T&J Events will not
be liable for any costs incurred by the clients or the loss of services & products
booked with suppliers due to late or non payment by the client.
4. CUSTOMER LIABILITY
i. The customer shall accept full liability for the behaviour of their guests including
children. T&J Events will not be held responsible for damage caused to hired
premises, furnishing, utensils or equipment or any other property used for or at
the event by the wedding party or guests.
5. RIGHTS TO PHOTOGRAPHY
i. T&J Events reserve the right to use any photography taken by the company and/or
by hired photographers for marketing purposes with the prior written consent of
the hired photographer (if applicable).

6. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
i. Deposits are non-refundable.
ii. Work completed will be charged in full.
iii. Work started will be charged in full.
iv. T&J Events require written confirmation of your cancellation.
v. If under extreme circumstances, i.e. change in government guidelines due to
Covid-19, death or severe illness, a wedding event is to be postponed by The
Customer, T&J Events will freeze work and continue when a new date is set,
providing the new date(s) is/are set within 24 months of the cancelled event
date(s). Availability of T&J Events will also have to be confirmed before the new
wedding date(s) is/are set.
vi. Force Majeure: If under extreme circumstances beyond T&J Events’s control, i.e.
the unlikely event of natural or social disaster defined as ‘Act of God’, terrorist
attack or civil unrest, the company is prevented from performing its obligations
under the contract, T&J Events will not be penalised. If the event(s) is/are
consequently cancelled, The Customer will not incur any additional charges from
T&J Events for rescheduling. However availability of T&J Events will have to be
confirmed before the new wedding date(s) is/are set.
vii. Please note that the above cancellation & refund policies refer to the services
hired of T&J Events only. Products and services obtained from suppliers are solely
based on the suppliers own Terms and Conditions. T&J Events will not be liable for
any additional costs or expenses incurred to the client whatsoever as a result of
the cancellation of products or services with suppliers for whatever reason. Clients
are solely responsible for negotiating cancellations or refunds with the respective
suppliers.
