IUPAC Periodic Table Challenge
IUPAC and the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and
Technology (ASRT) have launched the Arabic version of the
Periodic Table Challenge. The challenge is targeting young people
and students around the world and an Arabic version of the
challenge will extend participation from the MENA region.
Arabic is the second language for this challenge. The challenge
provides basic information about periodic table elements in the
form of multiple-choice questions divided into different levels:
beginners, intermediate and advanced. At the end of the challenge
the players are able to find all the correct answers, to enrich their
knowledge of the chemical elements. The original PT Challenge
took place last year, the International Year of the Periodic Table
(IYPT2019), and was highly successful.
To celebrate the International Year of the Periodic Table of
Chemical Elements (IYPT2019) and the IUPAC centenary, in 2019
we hosted an online challenge about the Periodic Table of the
Elements aimed at a global audience of young students. We
reached thousands of players from 136 countries and every
continent, including Antarctica.
Following the success of the 2019, we are now offering a new and
expanded IUPAC Periodic Table Challenge and we invite
everyone to join! While the individual players are recognized with
IUPAC Certificate, the most active Schools/Institutions will be
chosen to receive a limited-edition Periodic Table autographed by
a Nobel Laureate in Chemistry!

Fun Day
School fun days are an important part of student educational life at any level.
Allowing students to enjoy a day of fun activities to break up the routine of school
work is healthy and makes school more enjoyable for students and faculty. Student
fun days can be small or large depending on the budget of the school and the size of
the student body. They can be planned indoors, outside or off the school campus.

Community Service Activities
Life is Tender Team
Many people live in harsh conditions, forcing them to give up their most basic
rights and transform their lives into a black cloud full of pollution, ignorance and
darkness! We are students of high schools of outstanding students in science and
technology (STEM Schools). Our goal is to reach people in various places, such as
villages, with no services away from population centers, and help them to provide
knowledge. Our study system asks us every semester to solve a problem facing
Egypt. We visit shelters, schools, and hospitals, and we help the children there
morally and scientifically. Our goal is that we help people who are entitled to them,
that we always stand with them, help in education, even with a small thing, or draw
a smile on a face, a big man, and a small child or even a little advice we can deliver
to. And our Motto is "Nothing grows faster than good activities. Whoever starts and
does not finish a job loses his diligence”.
ENSH TEAM
Over time, less attention was paid to the environment, and most of the actions
of humans became negatively affected. We decided to establish the ENSH Team
(ENSH stands for Environmental Shield) team, which is a volunteer team whose goal
is to implement activities to conserve the environment and spread environmental
awareness under our slogan " for a better planet ". Our first activity was a campaign
to clean Gamasa beach from all types of waste contained in it, and we aim to
implement various other activities in the future. In addition, because the activities
are not limited to the team members only, we support anyone who participates, even
if something simple. Change starts from individuals, and any small help that makes
a big difference in the long run. We need your help and support for us to deliver our
message to as many people as possible.
Competitive College Club (CCC)

that assists top high school students who want
to be competitive applicants to U.S. colleges and
universities. Students meet year-round and
participate in lectures, book clubs, community
service activities, cross-cultural exercises and
test preparation, all conducted in English. The
activities help ensure that students are properly
advised as they go through the process of
preparing themselves both academically and
socially for a U.S. college or university, and
work to determine which schools might be a
good fit. And Alas Ashraf from Grade 10 got
