Location and background

It is located in Phu Wiang District, Chompoo District, Chum Phae District,
Khon Kaen Province. It has an area of approximately 325 square kilometers.

It covers an area of 3​ 80 square kilometers. in Wiang Kao District, Phu Wiang
District, Pink District and Chum Phae District When talking about Phu Wiang
National Park, tourists must think of dinosaurs. No one expected that the
highlands in present-day Thailand were home to dinosaurs until 1976 when
uranium deposits were explored in the Phu Wiang National Park. During the
expedition, geologists discovered a piece of bone. And when sent to French
experts for research, the results turned out to be a bone in the left knee of a
dinosaur. From then on, the explorers continued to actively excavate until today.

Climate

Phu Wiang National Park is influenced by the southeast monsoon.
It is therefore divided into 3 seasons as follows:

Summer starts from March to April, the highest average
temperature in April is 36.5 degrees Celsius.
The rainy season starts from May to October with an average
annual rainfall of 1,199 millimeters.
Winter starts from November to February with the lowest

Province and Nam Nao District Phetchabun Province, it flows along the
