chart.

THE ASTROLOGICAL eMAGAZINE www.astrologicalmagazine.com May 2021 22 The author holds a Ph.D degree in Plant Biotechnology and currently works as a Research scientist in a Conservation laboratory (Aushmath Biosciences) located at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He has done a course on Jyothish from Bhagyalipi Jyotirvidya Gurukula Ashram, Odisha and was awarded ‘Jyotisha Shree’ title in 2018. His research is broadly focussed on two aspects of nature, viz., tangible aspects and intangible aspects. In tangible aspects, he focusses mainly on conservation of endangered plant species in Western Ghats of India whereas in the intangible side, he enjoys investigating the planetary influences on life forms on Earth. Dr. Rahul Raveendran Nair HOROSCOPE ANALYSIS HOROSCOPE OF MATHEMATICAL GENIUS SRINIVASA RAMANUJAN The world recognises Srinivasa Ramanujan as one of the greatest mathematical minds of 20th century. He lived for only 32 years 04 months, but he has 120 theorems to his credit. Upon observing and analysing the life events of Ramanujan, the author (S.R. Ranganathan) of his biography “Ramanujan: The Man & The Mathematician’ relates himself to a meteor which originates quickly, glows for some time and then gets exhausted by leaving a trail. In this article, various events described in the above biography and a few other reliable sources were used to analyse his chart. In Vedic astrology, a meteor is signified by the mystical planet Ketu (Trivedi, 2019). It was surprisingly coincidental that the biographer related Ramanujan’s life with that of a meteor and in his chart, Ketu was noticed to be playing an immense role in determining his life, his career, and his death. D1 Chart 1 Mo Ke Su Ju Me Ve Ma Ra SaR Pi Ar Ta Ge Aq Cp Sg Sc Li Vi Lc Cn 6 12 3 9 Ma Ve Ju Me Ke Su Mo 7 8 10 11 1 AL 4 2 5 SaR Ra The details of birth were sourced from Astro Data Bank as follows Date of Birth: 22/12/1887 Time of Birth: 18. 20 [06.20 pm; Rodden Rating ‘B’] Place of Birth: Erode In this article, the author tries to uncover mainly the reasons behind the mystical side of Ramanujan’s short life using astrological reasoning. The article is divided into 7 sections, viz., I) One-pointedness, II) High pupillary oscillations as a sign of trance, III) Hearing Lord Vishnu’s voice in trance, IV) Exotic nature of his equations, V) Basic purpose of the soul was reaching Lord Vishnu, VI) Destiny chose an unconventional teacher & VII) Alpayus (Short-life) analyses I) One-pointedness Fifth house represents the process of learning on which a person will depend on to a great extent for meeting his/her goals. In Ramanujan’s chart, 5th and 12th lord Venus is placed under Visakha Nakshatra in 5th house. Visakha Nakshatra helped Ramanujan to have collaboration with a series of mentors including G.H. Hardy as the last one to avail their resources to stay ‘one-pointedly’ to reach his goals in the subject of mathematics. The word ‘one-pointedness’ (Vic Dicara, 2012) is of tremendous significance in this context as Ramanujan, despite being extremely poor financially, had effectively managed to assemble all human resources he had to reach his goal. This ‘onepointedness’ was given to him by the Visakha Nakshatra. The Venus’s rulership of 12th house revealed why Ramanujan received significant help from G.H. Hardy (a foreigner) to form a remarkably effective objective-directed partnership. Nothing stopped him from reaching his goals abroad although he suffered much due to culture shock in England. II) High Pupillary Oscillations as a Sign of Trance One of his classmates (Mr. Radhakrishna Ayyar) in Pachaiyappa college, Chennai recollected in the biography that Ramanujan had experienced high levels of pupillary responses resulting in seemingly Introduction

‘vanishing of pupils’ when he thinks in depth. A recent scientific study revealed that sudden pupillary oscillations occur in mindfulness meditators when the brain wave frequency falls below 1 Hz [a fraction of Delta waves (0.5 – 4 Hz)] (Pome et al., 2020) and it indicates altered cortical state. Having known the fact that mindfulness meditation indicates applying complete focus on the task that a person does at a given time, it is reasonable to assume that when he was thinking in depth to solve a given problem, there might be some changes in his cortical state occurring due to changes in brainwave pattern. If the brainwave frequency falls below 1 Hz, the individual gets disconnected from the outer world and will be in sleep/dream state. These facts give us the reasoning support to believe that he was seeking a divine guidance by being in a mindfulness meditative mode whenever he thinks of solving a problem, instead of depending only on his intellectual capacity to solve it. In the birth chart, Lagna of Ramanujan is placed under Ardra Nakshatra. Lagna represents the head and hence, it controls fairly the process/pattern of thinking system. The Rudra (the deity of Ardra) is the God of destruction and His destructive capacity is essential for Brahma to undertake creative actions. Because only if space is available, creation can be performed. This fact shows that unlearning (destructing the false identity/false ego) is a prerequisite for learning the truth or else the ultimate truth will remain hidden. So, it is the Ardra Nakshatra which helped Ramanujan to destroy his identity/ego as ‘I am Ramanujan’ by forgetting whatever should be forgotten at a given time and create a tidy space for the divine force to unravel mysteries. This process of destroying false ego was so important to him as once Ramanujan said to one of his friends (Mr. S. Venkatarama Ayyar) about the driver who was driving a tramcar in which they we travelling, “See how that man is imagining that he has the power to go slow or fast at his pleasure. He forgets that he gets the power through the current that flows in the overhead wires which is not visible to him unless he tries to see it. That is how Maya works in this world.” These words clearly show that to reach solutions/ideas, Ramanujan wanted to get his mind cut-off from the so called “realistic world” by destroying the currents of false identity/ego/society driven intellectual impressions which pass through his overhead wires. Ardra Nakshatra is the source of energy which enabled him to accomplish this task. III) Hearing Lord Vishnu’s Voice in Trance Ramanujan was an ardent devotee of Lord Narasimha (4th avatar of Lord Vishnu). He himself had confirmed it by revealing his dream to one of his friends (Mr. Radhakrishna Ayyar) that Lord Narasimha has appeared in his dream and told him that this is not the right time to show his works to the public and he should wait for the opportunity that would come towards him. In his birth chart, Ketu is placed in 8th house under Sravana Nakshatra which falls under Sadhak Tara in Navatara Chakra. Ketu is a planet which governs the sub-atomic realm or micro-world (quantum physics). Being the significator of quantum realm in the 8th house of research and mysteries, in the field of research (under Sadhaka Tara Sravana), it can be assumed that Ketu was inspiring Ramanujan’s consciousness to be in a state in which he listens to the Voice of Lord Vishnu through Sravana Nakshatra in a “quantized” manner. Because, Ramanujan once said to one of his friends (Mr. R. Srinivasan): “An equation has no meaning for me unless it expresses a thought of God.” The word ‘quantized’ is of high significance in this context based on a principle in “quantum physics”, that is: Principle: “Properties in the microworld are not continuous.” (Piccioni, 2018) When Ketu lifted up Ramanujan’s consciousness to higher levels, the information that he collected could be considered to be ‘divinely quantized’ corresponding to the level of consciousness he reached in a given time frame. In each ‘divinely quantized state’, Ramanujan was receiving certain packets of information/knowledge through “Vishnu Sravana” as “Vishnu Sravana” (hearing from Vishnu or hearing about Vishnu) is the best method (Vic Dicara, 2012) to obtain deeper knowledge (Bhagavath Purana 7.5.23). This boon must have been granted to him by Sravana Nakshatra through the mystical planet Ketu who rules over quantum world. The quantization of information/knowledge that he received was reflected in the way he wrote his theorems in his notebooks as G.H. Hardy said, “His ideas as to what constituted a mathematical proof were of the most shadowy description.” All his theorems followed a similar style in which he was pouring insights after insights without providing any clear-cut clarification steps in between (Aron, 2012). This shows the ‘quantized’ nature of information he was getting in a state induced by Ardra and Sravana Nakashatras. This is the major reason that most of his contemporaries and present-day intellectuals were and are trying to fix a head/tale in proving his theorems. A huge sense of uncertainty revolves around his insights which was clear from the words of G.H. Hardy. It is not surprising to note that Ketu is a planet of uncertainty and Ketu rules over quantum physics in which there is a principle called Heisenberg’s Uncertainty principle. This principle roughly says that it is impossible to measure simultaneously the momentum and position of a particle precisely. Momentum is a vector quantity which has both magnitude and direction. In the pupillary oscillation analyses, it was assumed that there were possibilities that his brain waves might have fallen below I Hz during spontaneous pupillary responses. In this state, energy is low (high wavelength) and hence more localized/quantized would be the information he received, i.e., he could THE ASTROLOGICAL eMAGAZINE www.astrologicalmagazine.com May 2021 23

precisely reach certain equations (positions) which revealed the true nature of his theorems written in his notebook by reducing the uncertainty of equations (positions) that he reached. When the uncertainty of finding exact equations (positions) was reduced, uncertainty in his psychological momentum, i.e., “…psychological force in which several factors or qualities converge in a synergistic way to enable one to perform at a level not ordinarily possible” (Iso-Ahola and Dotson, 2014) became extremely high. This uncertainty was reflected in the above mentioned G.H. Hardy’s words. It must be assumed that this uncertainty might be felt only by others who read/inspected/scrutinised/measured his work but not by Ramanujan as to him, all his equations were expressions of thought of God. The way Ketu acted in the 8th house under Sravana Nakshatra resembles exactly the Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle by reducing the uncertainty in ‘generating ideas and finding exact equations’ but at the same time, Ketu increased the uncertainty associated with his psychological momentum that he chose to accomplish it. It will be an interesting study to check further if Ketu in 8th house under Sravana Nakshatra always follows the same path of increasing the uncertainty of psychological momentum by reducing the uncertainty associated with the output. A one-line insight about his life: Rudra was clearing out (Ardra Nakshatra) Ramanujan’s overhead currents of Maya origin to make him hear (Sravana Nakshatra) the voice of Vishnu. IV) Exotic Nature of His Equations Ketu under Sravana Nakshatra is thought to be leading towards ‘exotic’ conclusions (Vic Dicara, 2012). The word ‘exotic’ here harnesses two meaningful insights i) Conclusions drawn from another plane of existence ii) Conclusions that were mysteriously different Almost all Ramanujan’s original ideas and subsequently developed theorems had this exotic nature (Berndt, 1998). The conjectures conceived by Ramanujan were subjected to test by using several methods of robust proofs of modern mathematics after getting connected with Hardy and Littlewood. According to the biographer, some were proved to be right and a few were seen to be wrong but ‘being right’ or ‘being wrong’ in forming various ‘conjectures’ had no apparent influence on the amount of joy that Ramanujan had while working on proving them. This quality of Ramanujan reflects his innate nature, that is, Chapter 18 (Verse 26) of Bhagavat Gita. मु स ोऽनहंवादी धृ ु ाहसम त: | िस िस ोिन िव कार: कता सा क उ ते || “One who performs his duty without association with the modes of material nature, without false ego, with great determination and enthusiasm, and without wavering in success or failure is said to be a worker in the mode of goodness.” Ramanujan’s friend’s narration given above reveals that he was a worker who worked in the ‘mode of goodness’. This virtue can be correlated with higher level functioning of Sravana Nakshatra because of two reasons i) The Sanskrit verb “Sru” from which the word Sravana is derived reflects the Sravana Nakshatra’s ability (Harness, 2016) to make Ramanujan hear the subtle energies in the ethereal realm by getting liberated from all material associations (‘मु स ोऽनहंवादी’: no false ego and freed from all material associations) through the help of Ketu. ii) Power of Sravana Nakshatra is “Samhanana Shakti” (Harness, 2016) which helped Ramanujan to establish ‘connections’ in the ethereal realm with the help of the mystical Ketu. Sravana Nakshatra consists of three stars (Altair, Alshain and Tarazed) in head of Eagle Aquila (Harness, 2016). Giving the analogy of King of birds Garuda to the Eagle Aquila, it could be said that Sravana Nakshatra receives direct instructions (on head) from Lord Vishnu. Ramanujan might have had a robust conviction that whatever he formulated was given to him from another plane of existence by a Divine power, hence it could be assumed that he was just obeying the orders resembling ‘How Garuda obeys the orders of his Lord Vishnu’. This nature might be the reason why his mind was not so concerned about whether his conjectures were right or wrong on the table of verification because he might have regarded his job as to strictly obey the orders of his Lord Vishnu. V) Basic Purpose of the Soul was Reaching Lord Vishnu In his birth chart, 3rd lord Sun which indicates mental inclination to exert effort was placed under Mula Nakshatra in 7th house of partnership and the Nakshatra lord of Sun (Ketu) was placed in 8th house. THE ASTROLOGICAL eMAGAZINE www.astrologicalmagazine.com May 2021 24

This clearly shows that his mind was inclined towards digging below the traditional surface of knowledge established and proclaimed by authorities as true and lawful to unmask the real truth by marking a new origin and foundation. As this placement was in 7th house, he developed himself through a series of relationships in India (Ranganathan, 1967) and finally through G.H. Hardy. Mula Nakshatra is ruled by Goddess Nirrti and one of meanings of the word ‘Nirrti’ is ‘unlawful’ (Vic Dicara, 2012). In his way of developing mathematical conjectures, of course, Ramanujan was unlawful, that is, his mind did not really care about what is normalized as a theory or a proof or a law in the field of mathematics. Mula Nakshatra must have inspired his soul to pursue a deep spiritual path to know the truth in his subject by destroying all superficial ties which connects the root of his ego (body) to this mortal world. Astonishingly, his soul’s connection with Lord Vishnu was further confirmed by S.R. Ranganathan (Biographer) in an occult way after Ramanujan’s soul’s departure. With the help of late Adv. K. S. Krishnaswamy Ayyangar, Ramanujan’s soul was invoked using Ouja board in 1934 in the presence of the biographer. In that occasion, in response to the question by the biographer about the level of Ramanujan’s interest in mathematics when in another plane, Ramanujan replied that he had lost his interest in mathematics after leaving the body and was no longer pursing it. To the second question of what he was focussing on, the reply of Ramanujan was “Meditation, Studying Vishnu Sahasranama”. This occult event uncovers the tremendous influence of Mula Nakshatra’s energy on his soul in destroying all superficial Mayic ties to reach the ultimate truth. To me, this must be considered as one of the greatest spiritual revelations to the modern occult researchers on how the soul behaves after the crossing over event. Now, as an occult investigator, the author of this article is greatly intrigued by this question? What is so unique about Vishnu Sahasranama that the departed Soul of Ramanujan was studying them in another plane of existence. Was it purely due to devotion or had he identified an extra dimension to it? Because it is important to note that he was not merely chanting it, his words during the occult event were “Studying Vishnu Sahasranama”. VI) Destiny Chose an Unconventional Teacher In Ramanujan’s birth chart, 9th lord Saturn represents mentor/teacher and higher studies. Ninth lord Saturn is placed in 2nd house under Pushya Nakshatra in conjunction with Rahu placed under Ashlesha Nakshatra. This combination has tremendous significance in his chart in terms of uncovering the true nature of his mentor and also the true nature of Ramanujan in higher learning. The significance of this combination is described in two sub-sections as follows. I.) “Twin Jupiter Phenomenon” on Ramanujan as a higher learning aspirant It is reported that influence of Pushya Nakshatra on Saturn reflects in an individual in a way that his viewpoints/opinions often find at variance with teachers/mentors/guides (Vic Dicara, 2019). Many of Ramanujan’s findings were at odds with teacher initially and were later proved to be correct. But, in his lifetime, majority of teachers were supportive of him even though his findings were difficult to be digested for them. This might be due to the 9th aspect of Jupiter on Saturn. The deity of Pushya Nakshatra is Brihaspathi who connects people of this Earth to divine world by mediating all religious rituals and practices (Vic Dicara, 2012). Pushya Nakshatra’s influence of 9th and 8th lord (Saturn) in addition to the Jupiter’s aspect over Saturn suggests that Ramanujan’s soul was using the medium of higher learning/research to establish a strong connection with the divine that he had, of course, considered this connection as an indispensable resource for his living as this combination occurred in the 2nd house of resources. It is important not to miss the fact that Brihaspati relates to both Pushya Nakshatra and Jupiter. Both these celestial bodies were influencing the 8th and 9th lord Saturn. According to Vic Dicara (2012), if Jupiter was a star, Jupiter would have been called Pushya. In effect, Ramanjunan’s head of research and higher learning (Saturn) was influenced significantly by this “Twin Jupiter Phenomenon”. This phenomenon can be attributed to the level of faith and devotion that he expressed throughout his life. It is common knowledge that Rahu’s conjunction with Saturn gives the native some eccentric qualities. As it is justified by the details of his biography, the author of this article prefers to call Ramanujan ‘An Intellectual, Eccentric to the Core’. Rahu’s placement under Ashlesha Nakshatra and Rahu’s conjunction with Saturn under Pushya Nakshatra in Ramanujan’s chart made him extremely obsessive in pursuing his passion towards higher learning akin to ‘an addicted mode’. The words ‘unconventional’ and ‘addicted’ are apt for revealing his passion towards learning because among Rahu and Saturn, Rahu’s (unconventional) dignity is higher than that of Saturn (conventional) in Cancer. ii) G.H. Hardy, an unorthodox mentor Ninth lord Saturn represents G.H. Hardy in Ramanujan’s chart. Now, if we slightly change our lens of analyses towards the ‘mentor’ aspects in the chart of Ramanujan, it can be noted that G.H. Hardy (mentor of Ramanujan) was also highly eccentric (Saturn + Rahu). To justify this claim, a few points from his history are given below “…He came top of his class in all subjects. But, as a result of coming top of his class, he had to go in front of the school to receive prizes: and that he could not bear” (https://cutt.ly/lhX3xFP) THE ASTROLOGICAL eMAGAZINE www.astrologicalmagazine.com May 2021 25

“Hardy ……. was socially awkward, cold and eccentric throughout his life” (https://cutt.ly/uhX3T0E) The placement of 9th lord Saturn in the 2nd house of wealth and resources of Ramanujan with Rahu justified the eccentric role played by G.H. Hardy in Ramanujan’s life. i) Ramanujan was invited by Hardy to England in one of the most unconventional way, that is, just by reading his letter containing certain conjectures with no clear proofs. ii) Hardy played a crucial role in arranging Royal Society Scholarship to Ramanujan via helping him shine in the career (2nd lord Moon in 10th house). In an analogous way of what Brihaspati (Pushya and Jupiter) does in case of religious rituals, that is, giving technical guidance to perform such acts to establish divine connection for receiving blessings, a ‘Humanly Brihaspati’ G.H. Hardy showed Ramanujan the ‘World of Proof’ which he can use to excel in his career. As Brihaspati was so concerned about the procedures of Yaga/Yajna, Hardy was so special in the procedures and formalities in mathematics. For instance, Hardy once told the philosopher Russel, “If I could prove by logic that you would die in five minutes, I should be sorry you were going to die, but my sorrow would be very much mitigated by pleasure in the proof." (Slater and Frohmann, 1992). Whenever Hardy related his life or contributions with Ramanujan, Hardy had no second thought in saying that his best contribution to the world of mathematics was the discovery of Ramanujan. This obsessive nature of Hardy about Ramanujan can be read from the placement of Rahu under Ashlesha in conjunction with 9th lord (Saturn; Hardy). VII)Alpayus (Short-life) Analyses Although the planets have given an ever-shining name and fame to Sri Ramanujan, they did not give him long life. When he died on 26th April 1920, he was only 32 years 04 months 04 days. An interesting fact is that Ramanujan was aware of his short-life destiny. This can be confirmed by taking two points from the biography i) After his demise, his wife Janaki revealed to the public that he was good in astrology. ii) Once he told to his wife that he would not cross 35 when she was taking care of his health after he returned from England. Eighth lord: Eighth lord Saturn is in Great Enemy’s sign (Cancer) and is in conjunction with Rahu. Rahu is dominating Saturn in this conjunction as Rahu is in his Mooltrikona sign. Analysing the dignity of Saturn in divisional charts revealed that in 14 out of 16 divisional charts, Saturn is in low dignities. One advantage is the 9th aspect of Jupiter to the Saturn. However, for a Gemini sign, Jupiter being the Kendradhipathi (lord of 7th and 10th house) loses his beneficence and becomes neutral. Besides, Jupiter is the one of the Marakas who is starved by Mercury and also afflicted by Rahu (5th aspect). Hence, the 9th aspect of Jupiter cannot be considered to be giving strength to Saturn (8th lord). Eleventh lord: Eleventh lord Mars is in 4th house earning no Digbala. Two malefics (8th lord Saturn and Ketu) are aspecting Mars. Mars is in neutral dignity. Aspecting Saturn rules 9th house also but the strength of Saturn is low to adequately strengthen eleventh lord Mars (Figure 1) Tenth lord: Tenth lord Jupiter is in 6th house (a Dusthana) with great enemy Mercury. Mercury starves Jupiter (Figure 1). Rahu’s 5th aspect falls on Jupiter Lagna lord: Lagna lord Mercury is in 6th house (a Dusthana) with an enemy Jupiter (Maraka) and aspected by Rahu. The astrologer Ernst Wilhem is of the opinion that if 8th, 10th, 11th and lagna lords are severely afflicted or weak, short life tends to be manifested and this principle can be considered as one of the basic formulae for judging short life in one’s chart. Through the above assessment, it can be observed that one of the basic formulae for causing Alpayus is thus met in Ramanujan’s horoscope. Major Alpayus Yoga Contributed to his Short-life The major contributing factor towards Alpayus is that 8th, 10th, 11th and lagna lord in his chart are weak/afflicted. Other critical yogas to Alpayus: a) Condition I: Weak lagna lord in 6, 8, 12 bereft of benefic aspect. Observation: Lagna lord Mercury is in 6th house (a Dusthana) with an enemy Jupiter (a neutral planet for Gemini and a Maraka) and aspected by Rahu. Figure 1. Effect of Lajjitadi Avasthas THE ASTROLOGICAL eMAGAZINE www.astrologicalmagazine.com May 2021 26

b) Condition II: Malefic in 6th, 8th or 12th. Lagna lord is weak and unaspected and unassociated by benefics, short live or childless. Observation: Ketu in 8th and lagna lord is weak. c) Condition III: Mars and the 3rd lord, or the 8th lord and Saturn be combust or be conjunct or aspected by malefics. Observations: i) Third lord Sun is aspected by malefic Mars ii) Mars is aspected by 8th lord Saturn and Ketu iii) 8th lord Saturn is conjunct with Rahu in a Maraka sthana (2nd house) and aspected by a neutral but afflicted Jupiter (a Maraka) d) Condition IV: Lagna lord is in the 6th, 8th or 12th and in the company of malefics and devoid of benefic aspect. Observation: Lagna lord Mercury is in conjunction with Jupiter (neutral and Maraka) in 6th house aspected by Rahu. e) Condition V: Eighth lord being Saturn, or a malefic in conjunction with another malefic, and this 8th lord occupies an evil Shashtiamsa. Observation: Eighth lord Saturn is in conjunction with Rahu in 2nd house (a Maraka sthana). In D60 (recasted D60 using the method suggested by V.P. Goel), Saturn is in Yama Shashtiamsa which is malefic. f) Condition VI: Saturn and 8th lord in malefic Shastiamsas and under malefic influence. Observation: In D60 (recasted D60 using the method suggested by V.P. Goel), Saturn is in Yama Shashtiamsa in conjunction with Rahu and aspected by neutral Jupiter (Maraka). Detailed Maraka Analyses: His soul did not depart during the Dasa periods of Primary Maraka Saturn which ended on 11th May 1896. Being a Primary Maraka, the possible reasons for his survival during Saturn Dasa could be that Saturn is a functional benefic for Gemini ascendant and rules over a trine house (9th house). He died on 26th April 1920 when he was running through Mercury Antar Dasa in Ketu Maha Dasa. He was almost bedridden during this period. Saturn is the planet of restriction. His lagna had to have some form of restriction at that particular time to get him admitted to the hospital. Analyses revealed that it was all planned by the shadowy planet Ketu and executed through other planets as evidenced through the dispositor theory explained by Jyotirvid J.N.Bhasin in his book called ‘Dispositors in Astrology’. Ketu is in the 8th house of longevity. Ketu’s dispositor Saturn is placed in the 2nd house (a marakasthana) with Rahu. Saturn’s conjunction with Rahu has given the Saturn high amount of Maraka potential but Saturn’s trinal lord status might not have allowed the Saturn to let Ramanujan’s soul depart from his body. With all these Maraka potential, Saturn aspects Ketu in 8th house. Ketu is a planet who can imbibe the qualities of aspecting planets. By harnessing the Maraka potential of Saturn (potential of 2nd house as Maraka Sthana), Ketu acted via Saturn (dispositor of Ketu) to reach Moon (2nd lord; dispositor of Saturn) and then via Moon, Ketu influenced Jupiter (7th lord; dispositor of Moon) and then, via Jupiter, Ketu exerted the full Maraka propensity and restricting influences to Ramanujan’s lagna (Physical body) via Mercury (lagna lord Mercury is conjunct with Jupiter). This Maraka energy transferring process substantiates his demise during Ketu/Mercury period.
