I’m Back !!! 30 August 2021
Cain has settled back
into class fine. He has
been meeting new
friends and old in
Bubble 1. He has been
trying lots of delicious
and different food at
lunch time.

PLP September 2021

For Cain’s personal learning
targets he will be given lots of
opportunities playing with friends
and help and share with them, he
will be given opportunities to
demonstrate his kind nature and
show empathy to others. I will
encourage Cain to use the writing
resources and give him
opportunities to develop his
drawings with more detail . I am will
give him lots of experience to
develop and consolidate his
understanding of estimating
numbers and measurements. For
his own target he wanted to learn
how to make okay dough and go on
skates.

Cain gives his friends a hug to make
them feel happy. He was a terrific

Christmas Time

PLP Evaluation December 2021

Cain has enjoyed all aspects of drawing and
mark making. He comes to the writing table
daily and draws fantastic roads and bus stop
pictures. He is beginning to copy his name
more confidently. He has enjoyed using the
building blocks and built some super dens with
sheets and blocks. Cain has achieved all his
targets this term
Cain joined in with lots of phonological games
and is understanding rhyming, syllables and
initial sounds. He enjoys all the creative
experiences and is often the first boy at the
art table. He has a good grasp of
mathematical language and understands full,
empty, more and less when at the water play.

For Cain personal learning targets he
will be given lots of opportunities and
experiences to develop his learning .
In his health and well-being outcome
he will be given lots of opportunities
to dress independently and practice
his zips and putting shoes on. He will
be given lots of experiences to
practice copying and writing his name
in lots of situations. For his numeracy
outcomes he will have lots of
experiences to build on his knowledge
and understanding of numbers to 10.
For his own personal learning he
wanted to build a swimming pool.

PLP Evaluation March 2022

Cain has achieved all his targets this term.
He has developed great independence
putting on his shoes, coats and outdoor
clothing. He is now wringing his own name
with no visual prompt and signs all his
wonderful drawings to take home. He is
recognising an d using numbers to 10
during his play experiences in class.
Cain certainly enjoyed our snowy weather
and loves being outside. He is a super
helper to the janitor who comes in daily to
tops up our soap and paper towels. Cain
has been enjoying using the new blocks and
is becoming familiar with 3D names and the
properties of shapes, I.e edges, corners,
straight and curved lines.

For Cains’s targets this term
he will be given opportunities
to carry out more advanced
routine independently. For his
literacy targets he will be given
opportunities to draw more
detailed figures with more
features. During his numeracy
targets he will count starting
and stopping at given points eg
2-8. For his own personal plan
he wanted to chalk outside.

wanted to chalk outside. I could make a park
car park for the McDonald’s

I counted my friends and chose
the day. Then I said cloudy and

seen who was here today. 

Cain was the star
helper, he had to follow
a complex routine.

It was my birthday on the 23rd
of April. When I came back to
nursery my friends sang Happy
Birthday and I got a cake, a card
and 2 gifts.

Cain achieved all his targets this term.
During his Health and WellBeing challenges
could follow more complex routines
independently. He follows lunch time
routine , outdoor routines and star helper
routines. During his literacy challenge he has
developed fantastic pencil control and is
drawing more detailed figures and pictures
and chats confidently about their meaning.
For his numeracy challenges he was
demonstrating a deeper understanding of
number order and can count starting and
stopping at given points quickly and
confidently. He has enjoyed visiting Primary
1 and meeting his teacher.

Adam I hope you have the best time in Primary 1. I am so
proud of all your achievements this year and can’t wait to see

you after the summer in you new uniform.
