Pre-school Year

I’m Back !!! 30th August 2021
I have settled back
into class. I have
enjoyed meeting new
friends in bubble 1
and my semi circle
group. I have been
tasting lots of
different foods at
lunch time.

PLP September 2021

For Adam’s personal learning targets I will
give him lots of experiences to play with his
friends and develop his sharing, cooperative
and turn taking skills. I will give him
opportunities to care for his friends and
show empathy and how to be an Amazing
Friend. I will give him lots of experience
using scissors, writing tools and tweezers or
dough tools. This will give him opportunities
to define his fine motor control. I will give
him lots of experiences to help enhance his
understanding of 1:1 correspondence up to 5.
For his own personal learning plan he told me
he want to have lots of friends and play with
all the children.

PLP Evaluation December 2021

Adam has enjoyed all the new
resources especially the small
world toys. He enjoys using the
train set and the little houses.
Adam often uses the sand area
and can put his shoes and socks
back on with a little help. Adam
has met all his targets for this
term.
Adam enjoys going to the woods
and engages in climbing and
playing on the swings. Adam is
beginning to take more interest
in mark making and drawing.

For Adams learning targets he will be
given lots of encouragement to get
himself ready for outdoors and home
time. For his literacy outcomes he
will be given lots of experiences to
write and copy his name. During his
numeracy challenge he will be given
lots of experiences to demonstrate
his knowledge, recognition and
understanding of numbers to 10. For
his own personal learning he said he
would like to build a house with the
bricks.

Adam has achieved all his targets this
term. He is becoming more independent
putting on his jacket and shoes. He can put
on his outdoors clothing and wellies with
adult encouragement. He is copying his
name come consistently and can write the
A with no visual prompt. He has developed
a good concept of numbers to 10 and can
use this knowledge throughout his daily
play.
Adam has enjoyed lots of outdoor play this
term and he has certainly enjoyed the
snowy weather. He has been out a walk as
part of his primary 1 transition. Adam
enjoys using the small world toys and can
concentrate well at these experiences.

letter sound and start to
recognise letters. During
his numeracy challenges he
will consolidate his knowledge

wanted to make a Macdonalds
drive through .

PLP Evaluation June 2022

Adam has met all his targets this term.
During his Health and well being challenge
he was given lots of opportunities to visits
Primary 1 open area and get to know the
area. He has been to visit the Primary 1
class and met his teacher. He has
demonstrating a good understanding of
letter sounds during his literacy
challenges. He can confidently state words
that start with various letters by listening
to and recognising initial sounds. Durning
his numeracy challenge he was
demonstrating a deeper understanding of
number order by stating various numbers
missing on a number line from 1 to 10. He
has enjoyed various visits to the woods and
still enjoys playing in the nursery garden.

Adam I hope you have the best time in Primary 1. I am so
proud of all your achievements this year and can’t wait to see

you after the summer in you new uniform.
