I’m Back !!!

30th August 2021
I have settled back
into class and I like
seeing my friends.
I have been tasting
lots of different
foods at lunch time.

PLP September 2021

For Anna’s personal learning targets
she will be given lots of opportunities
to develop her gross motor control,
throwing, catching and bouncing a
ball with both hands. I am going to
give her experiences to boost her
confidence talking to her friends in
small group and larger group
situations. I will be giving her lots of
experiences to demonstrate her
skills of estimation of number and
measurements and use appropriate
language. For her own personal
learning she asked if she could learn
to peddle faster.

Anna was doing super throwing
and catching to her friend.
They counted to 10 and didn’t
drop. She was also confident
kicking the ball and saving a

Today I was the star helper. I chose
the day, the weather and counted all
the friends in my semi circle group.

said the rectangle is
bigger and needs more .
And the circle is smaller.

Anna was using her estimation skills to lift lift the Bundle 1
controls higher, how much to rotate and when to Date 19/10/21
drop into the box. I can estimate in context of number and measurement
using the appropriate language.

PLP Evaluation December 2021

Anna enjoyed all creative experiences and is
very confident mark making and drawing. She
has been copying letters to write her own
stories to describe her pictures. Anna has
been confident using her balance and climbing
skills to access the nursery climbing frames,
scooters and bikes. Her numeracy skills are
fantastic and she enjoyed all the games we did
to extend her estimation skills.
Anna has enjoyed going to the woods. She likes
the swings and climbing the trees. Anna has
learned how to peddle a bike and is enjoying
using the different bikes in the garden. Anna
is showing much more confidence speaking in a
small group situation.

For Anna’s learning targets she will
be given more challenging routines
to follow with less adult support.
She will carry out snack routine,
and outdoor routines independently.
For her literacy challenges she will
have opportunities to retell stories
using books, adults and props to
give her clues. During her
numeracy targets she will be given
opportunities to practice counting
numbers starting and stopping mid
number line. For her own personal
learning she wanted to plan, design
and build a house.

Health and WellbeingSequential Thinking

Date 08/02/22

At lunch you wash your hands first, then you get your
soup. You need to put your chair and then put your food in
the food bin. You get your dinner next after that you put
your chair in again and put you food in the food bin. Then
you wash your hands and it’s home time.

Anna helped to
make pancakes with
her friends then
had them for
snack, delicious.

The Primary 1 children came to visit the
nursery and read lots of lovely stories to them
for World Book Day.

Anna had great fun when
it snowed at nursery. We
all went outside to play
and we’re making
snowballs to throw.

Anna enjoyed a
visit to the poly
tunnel and planted
some sunflower
seeds.

I celebrated my birthday at nursery. I was 5
years old. My friends sang Happy Birthday to
me and I got a card and I chose 2 presents
from the birthday box.

outside you need to
put your card up. Then
you get your puddle-
suits . I can put mine
on all by myself ! Then
you line up to go
outside. After your
finish playing you live
up again and take your
puddle suit off and
hang it on your peg.

back into class. You
take down your picture
and wash your hands .
PHEW!

At Easter time at my
house there was an

PLP Evaluation March 2022

Anna Mae has achieved all her targets this
term . She is following more difficult
routines independently such as lunch time
and outdoor routines. She has become more
confident chatting to friends and during
class she has been retelling stories with
friends using both the pictures and props.
Anna has a good grasp of the number line
and could guess the missing numbers and
start and stop at various points.
Anna is beginning to name numbers to 100.
She is recognising all her friends names and
can easily distinguish her name from Adam
and Avara. Anna can copy all her friends
names too. She has been a visit to the poly
tunnel to plant seeds. She enjoys outdoor
play and enjoyed the snowy weather.

For Anna’s personal targets this
term she will be given many
experiences to visit the Primary
1 setting and get to meet her
teacher as part of a smooth
transition. For her literacy
target I will give her support to
recite nursery rhymes to peers
confidently. During her
numeracy challenge she will be
introduced to the concept of
addition and subtraction. For her
own personal plan she said she
wanted to make a Macdonalds
cafe.

PLP Evaluation June 2022

Anna has met all her targets this term. She
has experienced many visits to the Primary
section of school and got the opportunity to
become familiar with the area. She went to
visit her Primary 1 class and met her teacher.
During her literacy challenges I saw her
confidence bloom as she could not only recite
nursery rhymes from start to finish but also
could do this in front of her peers! During her
numeracy challenge she demonstrated a
deeper understanding of number by
confidently stating answers to simple
subtraction and addition problems. Anna has
again enjoyed visit to the woods and was so
excited when we had our stay and play session.

Anna I hope you have the best time in Primary 1. 
  I am so proud of all your achievements this year.
I hope you have a lovely summer and can’t wait to

see you in your new uniform.
