Autobiography Of
Patricia Nicole Gomez Sim

My Birth Story

The story of my birth starts out with me coming out of
the womb as a Unicorn. Yes, i came out being magical
and throwing up rainbows. Just kidding. But, the real
story of my birth is something i’m really thankful for. As
explained by my mom, she said that before giving birth to

me, the doctor had to stop her from taking too much
vitamins, because I was already healthy, and very playful.
Then during the time she gave birth to me, she had to do

a C-Section operation, because she wasn’t capable of
giving birth the normal way. A C-Section is an operation,
where the doctors will cut the patient’s lower part of the

abdomen in order to carry the baby out. The procedure
was about 45 minutes long. However, after I was born
she explained how excited, and tired she was. Overall, I
am thankful that she went through the hardships in order

for me to be born.

Confused and Clueless

While growing up I was raised a certain way at home,
where I had to learn how to take care of myself at a young age.

Not only that, but I also had to know my priorities and plans
for the future. At all those times I learned something new, but I

was often confused or clueless of I had to learn. Things like
protecting myself from strangers, learning to clean around the

house, and being able to stay home alone. As a young
adolescent i’ve always questioned to whole purpose of it,
because I always thought the world wasn’t as cruel as it is
now. Sometimes I would get frustrated and depressed because

I didn’t want to deal with “grown-up stuff.”. But,
unfortunately I have to deal with it some day. Although,
growing up my parents taught me how to take care of myself,
because it was a way to survive on my own and society. I
mean, parents themselves in general are not custom to do
everything for you; so, I see the whole point of this “life
lesson”. But, getting older you start to experience a lot of
things to the point where you know how to handle it yourself.

An Influence On Music

Another life event that shaped who I am, was learning
to play piano. I know it’s just an instrument, but it made
up some of my life, as to me getting involved in music.
Piano usually acted as an escapism during certain times

of my life, because I would be distracted by it, and it
made me let go of my feelings. I started playing piano
when I was 4-5 years old, and I used to go to classes.
Unfortunately, because of tight schedules, I had to stop.
However till this day I am still interested into playing
piano, and have reviewed some stuff I learned at home. I
really enjoy playing piano, but I have this bad habit of
learning a new song, then finding another song to learn.

Which then; the cycle repeats, and I end up not
completing a piano piece. Anyway it’s a hobby I enjoy,

and I am looking forward into learning more, and
hopefully finish a song.

My Experience In School

My final important life event was going to school ,
because going to school meant new opportunities and
friends. However, school in general can shape who you
are, depending on what kind of friends you have. This
experience is important to me, because it’s almost like
dealing with the real world. During my experience as an
elementary, and now middle school senior. You realize
how much you’ve learned. There are often times when
i’m lost, or depressed in some cases that occur in school.
Maybe it’s because of too much homework, or having to
deal with people who bother you a lot. But, it’s how it
works; out in the world, and it can help you to deal with
it in the future. However, school is not a bad experience.
As long as you have good friends/influences who are
guiding you. Although, my friends are not in my classes.
Their names are Celine, Tiffany, Amiyah, Cayla, and

Kheyli, and i’m glad to have them in my life.

Facts About Me

My name is Patricia Nicole Gomez Sim, and i’m
half Filipino, and Korean. I was born in Good
Samaritan hospital in Los Angeles. Some things you
should know about me is that, I may seem quiet, or
shy. In reality i’m very playful, and noisy. There are
people who think i’m mean, but i’m actually pretty
nice. I also don’t like big crowds, and I usually go to

Los Angeles every week to either visit my
grandparents, or just for fun. Particularly, I would go to
Koreatown since there are a lot of interesting sightings.

I also don’t have any siblings, which people think is
“lucky”. However i’ve always wanted a little brother; it
tends to get lonely at home. Some things I enjoy in life
is sleeping (of course), BTS (if you are clueless on who

they are. They are basically a Korean boy band),
spending time with friends, playing piano, and
listening to music. Hopefully these things also interest
you, or maybe share common interest. Either way,

thank you for reading my Autobiography.
