Who are we?


CGM films are a professional wedding video company based in the West of Scotland. We
create beautiful cinematic wedding films that capture all those special moments. We are

professionally qualified to degree level and have 11 years of photography & film
experience. Our passion for creating natural & atmospheric wedding films has lead onto
developing our husband and wife FILM TEAM.



How it all started:


The journey began in 2009 when we met and fell in love. We
travelled together and made lots of amazing memories. Craig was

building his photography portfolio whilst I pursued my teaching
career. In 2012 Craig was ready to shoot his first wedding,
assisted by myself at the beautiful Gailes Resort in Irvine. This

was the start of our love for this
industry and we continued to capture more beautiful

weddings together. In 2014 we had our first child, Isla,
who stole our hearts and changed our lives forever. In

2015 we got married ourselves in the beautiful sunshine of
Cancun, Mexico. Craig continued to develop his skills by

becoming more specialist in film whilst working as a
firefighter at Prestwick airport. In 2018, our second child
was born, Cairn, completing our family of 4. This time off work gave me the perfect

opportunity to learn more about videography and develop our hobby into a business.



Craig is the technical genius with a degree in film and photography, he really is an

absolute perfectionist and does all the website work. He loves gadgets and is always
buying new equipment to make sure he captures the best shots. I also have a love for

all things creative and in charge of the administration. I am the socialite who does all
the talking and gets to know the bride and groom (making sure I know exactly what
they like). Together we love what we do and if we do say so ourselves are an awesome

team!

We have put a lot of love into building our business and are confident in saying that we

offer a service that we are very proud of. We work hard to meet our vision and aims
and ensure that our couples can trust in a service they have paid for and that we can

fulfil all of our promises.


We believe that your wedding is the most special day you will share together which is
full of timeless moments of love and laughter. We feel privileged that we get to capture

these moments and believe we truly have the best job!
Our first priority is to create bespoke and quality wedding videos that require skilled

craftsmanship, quality technology and creative editing. We do this by using the very best
technology and software.


We make sure that couples feel at ease and often have 2 or 3 meetings prior to the
wedding. We love to get to know our couples and make sure we create a video that

meet their style and personalities.

Lastly we are committed to professional development and make sure we are keeping up
with new technology and trends. Our next step is offering
drone footage to our clients which will be available to couples

booking in 2021. This has been a big investment and we are
fine-tuning our skills in this area to make sure this footage is

of an excellent quality, like the rest of our work.

Charity work:



We are also committed into ‘giving something back’ to the community as people are the
success of our business and we are grateful for their support. We have also supported

the development of other local businesses and work in partnership with a lot of amazing
people in the wedding industry. Last year we offered a lucky couple a free wedding

We also offered a free wedding video to a lovely couple married last year at the
Waterside, West Kilbride. Jim McGregor was a firefighter, husband and wonderful dad,

due to be married this year but when he got the news of his cancer, they brought the

wedding forward. It was a perfect opportunity to offer something that we could help
with. Whilst this was incredibly hard to shoot and edit, we will forever feel proud of

being able to do that little something to help!

This year we are supporting a local 7 year old (Seth Gardiner) who has recently went

into palliative care. We have donated some money to help towards his gofundme page

to make some special memories with his family.

Lastly we believe in supporting local businesses and have since created some advertising

material to help build their brand. We believe that support of friends and family are

fundamental in sustaining a successful business and word of mouth is the best type of

Press Coverage


Craig was approached by our Local Newspaper to talk about ‘setting up his own

business’. Job opportunities were not easily available so after a lot of convincing he
agreed to an interview. An article was written with advice to help others set up their

own business.














































We have came along way since then as it takes years to establish a business after it’s

been built. Our journey has taken us here and we have learned so much more since
then. One of the secrets to our success is PEOPLE! We have made lots of good

friends along the way, including our competitors. Books, tutorials and videos have given

us a wealth of knowledge but the people we have worked with has been invaluable.
Some of which are now life-long friends that we are truly grateful for. Their advice,

support and time has helped us to be where we are now.

Our Work


We offer a range of packages to suit all budgets, with some couples only choosing our

highlight video to save on cost. However most couples choose a full wedding video that
includes speeches and vows. We have not included these samples as they are very

intimate and it is part of our promise not to share these videos with the public. All of
