Thursday, June 6
Round 1: Stroke play, Best Ball
• Team best-ball score will determine flights for Rounds 2 and 3 and also
the Calcutta
o Calcutta teams will be blind-draw; making two teams into a single
four some.
§ Calcutta winners are determined by combined score of your
foursome
• For More information on Calcutta, see pg. x for more
information
o Day Money Pays low NET and low GROSS
Friday, June 7
Round 2: Stroke play, ‘Rattler Style’ Defender
• Count your team’s net best ball score on each hole and combine it
with the member’s net score on EVEN holes and the guest’s net
score on the ODD holes for a total of 2 scores per hole.
o For example: If, on hole 1 the guest gets 1 stroke, the guest
makes a 6 and the member makes a 4, your team score would
be 4 (team net best ball (member made a 4)) + 5 (guest made a 6
net 5) = 9
o Day Money pays low NET and low GROSS
11
Sunday, June 8
Round 3: ‘Rattler Style’ Best Ball
• This is a format where you will count each player’s gross and net
scores. The two net scores will be added together and then the
lowest net will be added again for a total of 3 scores per hole.
o In other words, low net counts twice and high net counts once
§ For Example: If, on hole 2 the member gets 1 stroke, the
guest makes a 4 and the member makes a 4, your team
score would be 4 (guest net) + 3 (member net) + 3 (team
low-net best ball) = 10
o Day Money pays low NET and low GROSS – this is
outside / additional to the Calcutta
Horserace Shootout
• Top 3 teams from each flight will advance (12 total teams)
• Alternate Shot (scotch) format, with Guest hitting the first tee ball

o In aggregate format, teams receive strokes based on combined
handicap of the total score, based on handicaps of holes
played
• Holes 4 - 6 – two teams, per hole, with highest score eliminated
(chip off to break ties)
• In individual hole format, teams receive strokes based on combined
total handicap of the hole score

Payouts – Calcutta and Tournament
Calcutta:
The Calcutta is a live bid auction event. It is separate from
Day Money and also the overall event champion.
The teams who win, place and show are not necessarily
guaranteed a spot in the Horserace Shootout (which does in
fact determine the overall event champion.
Each team will be paired with another team by a blind draw.
A team-pairing sheet will be available to each participant, at the start of
the Calcutta on Thursday evening.
Each four-man team will be sold at a live auction with a minimum opening
bid of $250.
Bidding will continue until a high bidder is established.
Conglomerates or consortiums can be formed for bidding purposes, but
only one individual’s name is to be used as the bidding party, and will be
responsible for the payment of the bid amount and the distribution of any
monies won.
Teams must be paid IN FULL for at the conclusion of
Thursday night, in cash or member charge.
14
Any team, who are either not choosing to bid or end up buying
themselves, will be allowed to purchase AT LEAST 25% of themselves.
This is to be worked out directly with the final purchaser of the team.
90% of the money allocated to the Calcutta will be paid out
as follows:
• 1st Place (45%)
• 2nd Place (15%)
• 3rd Place (9%)
The remaining 10% will be used to offset tournament expenses.
Overall Tournament Champion:
The field is divided into five flights, based upon score from Round 1.
Each flight will send three teams, with the lowest cumulative scores, to
the Shootout after the conclusion of the third round of competition to
determine overall champion.
This is outside and separate from the Calcutta and Day Money.
The tournament will payout three spots, in the form of shop credit, as
follows.
NOTE: The Shootout is NET ONLY:
1st Place – Overall Champion $500/man.
2nd Place $200/man.
