Therefore, the collection comprises stylish jackets with a water co-
lumn of 10,000 mm and cordura insets as well as polo shirts in a
multitude of colors and sturdy caps. Workwear pants fascinate you
with cuts and sizes for any build – great looks and optimum freedom
of movement are guaranteed by a higher stretch factor.
The great advantage: All the collections are perfectly matched in color
for a perfect corporate appearance and can be combined with each
other. The consistent style and cool details make the corporate outfit a
reliable companion, which everybody likes wearing even after work.
However, James & Nicholson and myrtle beach not only set store by
high functionality and good looks, the inner values of a product are
just as important. The proportion of products made of sustainable fa-
brics has been on the increase for years. There are pants and T-shirts
made of organic cotton or recycled polyester. Instead of downs a

It is important to myrtle beach and James & Nicholson to sen-
sibly process raw materials that have already been used instead
of always entering new ones into the production cycle.
In this way, environmental pollution can be reduced and
unnecessary waste can be avoided. Therefore, with the majority
of their new workwear collection, the two brands use recycled
polyester, which is reclaimed from plastic bottles. The bottles
are cleaned, melted and spun into yarn. For example, the work-
wear trousers JN1812 contains PET bottles - and organic cotton.
A classic example of 100% sustainable fabric as well as 100%
function.
Jacket, T-shirt / polo shirt or pants: All the items made of or
containing recycled polyester are as high-quality, breathable
and hard-wearing as the previous ones. Both the yarn produc-
tion and the adherence to the quality standards are regularly
checked by the independent laboratory LABTECH.

people working outdoors are exposed directly or indirectly to the sun. Therefore, their
risk of contracting skin cancer is much higher than that of people working indoors.

UV-CLOTHING PROVIDES BETTER 98% SHIELDING
PROTECTION THAN SUNSCREEN OF UV-RADIATION

The best protection against harmful UV-radiation is ID120866
provided by certified UV-protective clothing. It shields off
radiation, does not have to be applied once again like 11
sunscreen and therefore lasts all day. For the parts of the
body uncovered by clothes sunscreen with a high sun
protection factor and a headgear should be used.

THE MORE UPF, THE BETTER

The UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) indicated on UV-
protective clothing shows how much longer somebody
wearing these clothes can stay in the sun without suffe-
ring any damage to health. Therefore, the UPF-indication
on textiles corresponds to the sun protection factor of
sun-screens. This is based on the self-protection time
of the skin, which varies considerably depending on the
individual skin type.

A product marked with UPF 50+ according to this
standard blocks more than 98% of the harmful UV-rays.

TESTED TEXTILE UV-PROTECTION

Our products are manufactured and checked accor-
ding to the strictest standard (Australia) for textiles with
UV-protection.

The LABTECH Prüfungsgesellschaft mbH is officially
accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 2005 and
based on this standard, they test as an independent
laboratory the UV-protective factor of our textiles.
