Xenografts

InterOss

InterOss® is a natural hydroxyapatite bone grafting material derived from Australian bovine bone.
This highly purified osteoconductive material is produced from natural bone through a multi-step
purification process. Its natural origin makes InterOss® chemically comparable to mineralized hu-
man bone. InterOss® is available in granule form. It is supplied sterile and is dedicated for single
use. The presence of a microporous structure favors cell ingrowth, while the micropores allow the
penetration of body fluids into the implant. The microporosity can also be used to manipulate re-
sorption and dissolution rate. The pore structure and interconnected pore system of InterOss® al-
low the grafting material to act as a guide for body fluids, growth factors, blood vessel, bone mar-

Collagen Membranes

Helimend and Helimend Advanced absorbable collagen membranes are made from purified bovine tendon. These collagen prod-
ucts provide wound stabilization and create space during guided tissue regeneration procedures. Helimend collagen membranes
are resorbed in 8-10 weeks and the Helimend Advanced is resorbed in 18-20 weeks. These products are easy to use and have
excellent handling characteristics. The membrane is pliable with some memory, and does not become completely flimsy or slip-
pery when hydrated like some other membranes. This makes it easier for clinicians to properly place the membrane over the

based, it provides support for implants, bridges and dentures. Immediately following an extraction,

Cytoflex® Non-Resorbable PTFE Membrane

Cytoflex® is a non-resorbable membrane used as a space-making barrier in guided tissue regeneration procedures. Composed of a
microporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) thin film, Cytoflex® has a surface texture and porosity suitable for adhesion of host
cells to the material while preventing passage and integration of bacteria within the interstices of the material. The supple mem-
brane conforms easily to tissue contours, and yet offers sufficient stiffness to maintain a space over the bony defect. The smooth,
micro-texture surface is designed to improve flap attachment but prevent tissue and bacteria ingrowth. The textured version has
additional macro-textured surfaces for greater flap attachment. FDA has approved Cytoflex® for use as a barrier membrane in the

Cytoflex Ti-Enforced High Density ePTFE Titanium Reinforced Membranes

Ti-Enforced ePTFE membranes are a multi-layer, non-resorbable membrane intended to be surgically placed under the muco-
periosteum to aid in tissue regeneration in accordance with the guided tissue regeneration principle. It is a passive, non-load bearing
material with titanium frame enclosed within two exterior layers of ePTFE material. The titanium reinforcement is intended for space
and shape maintenance to contain bone grafting material and to minimize graft movement during wound healing. The membranes

The first particulate bone grafting material designed to be syringed directly into a bone defect, hardening into a stable, porous
scaffold in approximately one minute and eliminating the need for a dental membrane in many cases. GUIDOR® is a 100% syn-
thetic, fully resorbable and unit-dose application. Its complete system eliminates the need to guess with which liquid to mix the

GelFoam Sterile Compressed Sponge is a medical device intended for application to bleeding surfaces as a hemostatic. It is a

It is a GelFoam substitute. HeliStat Absorbable Collagen Hemostatic Sponge is a soft,

This product is made of 100% biocompatible regenerated cellulose. Surgi-StopTM is a wound dressing for management of bleed-
ing. As Surgi-StopTM is inserted into a site, it absorbs blood and extrudate and transforms into a gelatinous scaffold that adheres
to moist mucosa. It covers the capillary ends, and causes hemostasis, in most cases, in under 120 seconds. Surgi-StopTM can re-
duce development of alveolar osteitis (dry sockets) by up to 97% in certain clinical circumstances. Compare to Surgicel.

BenaCel

BenaCel® dental dressing is made of biocompatible oxidized cellulose and contains no chemical additives. The dental dressing
