On behalf of the Board of Governors and membership of St.
Charles Country Club it is my sincere pleasure to extend a
warm Canadian welcome to all participants and guests of the
2017 Gathering of the Alister MacKenzie Society in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada.
Enclosed you will find all of the information needed to enjoy
your time at St. Charles. We very much look forward to
sharing our course and facilities, renewing friendships, and
showcasing some exciting new attractions in our City, in what
is the 150th anniversary of our Country’s confederation.

General Information

Winnipeg Weather
Average temperatures at the end of August see daytime highs of 24C / 75F and evening lows of 10C / 50F.
Morning rounds may require a layering piece to get you through to warmer temperatures in late morning

and afternoon. For Winnipeg weather click here

Dress Code
St. Charles dress code is similar to most all other MacKenzie clubs. For information on our dress code

please visit our website at www.stcharlescc.ca.

Locker Facilities
Players and guests have access to locker facilities. Players have been provided 4 lockers per team as listed
in the booklet. The Men's locker room code for entry is 1466. Women's locker code for entry is 1534.
Golf Club Storage
Players are asked to please place their bag tag from their gift package on their golf bag for proper
identification.
Golf Carts
St. Charles is a very flat and easy walking course with very short distances between tees. Walking is
encouraged in this event. Carts can be rented from the pro shop. Visa or Mastercard can be used.
Pro Shop Operations
The pro shop is open from 7:00 a.m. until dusk. Visa, Mastercard or Cash can be used for purchases of
merchandise.
Practice Facilities
Participants are most welcome to use our Practice Tee, Short Game Area and Putting Green before or after
play. These facilities are open 7:00 a.m. to dusk.

Team Uniforms - To be worn TUESDAY
Team uniforms are coordinated by each individual team and colors have been communicated to the
Directors at each Club for the team photo on Tuesday prior to play. There will not be a uniform supplied at
the event for players.
Consumption of Alcohol
St. Charles Country Club strongly encourages all participants to use the shuttles provided. Drinking and
driving carries severe penalties in Canada.
