55 Professional Development is a continuous effort for educators. It is very important for teachers to keep themselves updated and improve their skills and in turn, boost students to enhance their knowledge and skills. Doon Global School conducts such sessions every month with structured activities, seminars and workshops for teachers. On 31st May,23 a PD session was conducted in the school emphasising on Mind Mapping. Our Principal, Ms. Seema Hanvey, explained what mind mapping is and how important it is for teachers for preparing and planning a lesson. Some teachers have been given the task to conduct a lesson on the digital board with the help of mind mapping for others to learn and follow. Ms. Neelam Bhatt, Ms. Mamta, Ms. Sapna Gandhi created the visual overview of Hindi, Maths and Science lessons. They have used most of the digital tools to make their lessons interesting and comprehensive. Such sessions not only foster creativity but also make teaching more effective.
