Friendship day was celebrated by the students of pre-primary on 7th August 22.

tiffin box with each other and
posed beautifully for the

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Janmashtami was celebrated by the students of pre-primary to Class -2 on 17th August 2022.

Schedule of the programme was as follows:

1. Programme was hosted by Avleen Kaur of class 4.
2. English speech was given by Vedant Katoch.
3. A dance performance was given by Paridhi Chauhan.
4. A ramp walk was done by the students of L.K.G. and U.K.G.
5. A dance performance was given by Varnika Mishra of class 1.
6. Hindi speech on Janmashtami was given by Shivaay Saini.
7. A dance performance was given by Genesis Layal of class 1.
8. Another dance performance was given by Akshita Rawat of

class 2.
9. Matkifod activity was done by the students of kindergarten.
10. Words of wisdom were given by Director Sir.



The Junior School students organised a mini fete on 24th August 2022. The conduction of the fete
was done by class 5 students whereas the students of classes 3 and 4 were the purchasers. The
main aim of this fete was to introduce financial literacy among the children and to make them aware
of the Mathematical concepts like profit, loss, discount etc. The students really enjoyed the fete and
they seemed to be so enthusiastic regarding their participation. It was indeed a well-planned event
that ended well. Looking forward towards the conduction of more such events.

Assembly by the students of classes 3 to 5 was conducted on 10th August 2022.

A GK quiz on great entrepreneurs which made us scratch our head was conducted by

CLASS- 7A & 7B

School fetes are one of the most anticipated times of the whole academic year It is a time for
rejoicing and celebrating. It is also a great chance to give the students a break from their
monotonous routines. The students also get duties that make them responsible and teach them
things other than academic knowledge. This allotment of duties make the children learn how to
balance fun with work. It teaches them the importance of creating the perfect balance in life.
Keeping this in mind a mini school fete was organized by the students

of class 7A & 7B of ‘The Doon Global School’ on 16th of August.

The venue chosen for the fete was the amphitheatre. The students set up their stalls of food items and
goodies in an immaculate manner. The students were full of zeal and enthusiasm and left no stone
unturned to make the event a success.
Overall, it was ‘A Red letter Day’ for all of us. We are looking forward for more such events on large

scale in near future.



ASSEMBLY (MIDDLE SCHOOL)

On 30th August 2022 Class 7A & 7B conducted the
assembly.
The topic of the assembly was ‘Entrepreneurship’.
Students exhibited their talent by conducting various
feats like quiz & poem related to the topic. A student
from the middle section read the news to keep us
updated regarding the current affairs. To promote
positive vibes ‘Thought of the Day’ was also shared by
a few students. This assembly was undoubtedly a
result of the immense efforts put together by
students and their teachers. It was once again proved
that when students and teachers work together, they
surely create masterpieces.

INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION

A junior inter-school quiz competition was organised by the Doon Global School on 3rd of August
2022 under the flagship of Pachwadoon Sahodaya for session 2022-2023 including students from
classes 6-8.
21 schools from all over Dehradun participated. All the schools were divided into groups and then
participated in the general round proceeding towards quarter final, semi-final and finals.
Position holders were as follows
I-The Lakshay Public Senior Secondary School.
II- Anunaad Public School
III- The Doon Global School.
The event was honoured by a versatile personality, Mr. Som Dutt Tyagi, chairperson of Shivalik
Academy.
The students were observed with great enthusiasm towards the participation and we look forward
for happening of such more competitions

An assembly was conducted by the students of class 11th C based on the basic knowledge of
entrepreneurial skills.

EXPERIENTIAL ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITY

An Experiential Entrepreneurial project cum activity was conducted among the students of grade
11th and 12th C and D sections on 25th August 2022. Here, they have organized a mini fete with
an objective to learn the concepts of the business, marketing, sales, accounting and much more.
The students were enthusiastic to be involved and they have reflected exemplary work in terms
of management and discipline.

1. Flag hoisting was done by Chairman Sir, School Director, and Principal.
