To monitor and control all types of wastes at KPJ TWKL are handled according to the local municipal requirements, legal requirements and environmental standards. To implement cradle to grave principle by following these initiatives:- i. Clinical Waste Collection Flow Sharp Bin Collection Flow Start Waste Segregated at point of use Waste collected from clinical bin and disposed in wheel bin in the disposal room of each service twice a day/ when necessary Wheel bin pushed to central store twice/ three times a day depending on the service Waste collected for incineration to incinerator plant everyday End User Housekeeping 6WDƉ Housekeeping 6WDƉ Kualiti Alam Sdn. End Waste Segregated at point of use ¾ full or 1 week old sharp container closed and kept at disposal room of each service Closed sharp containers are collected daily for incineration Closed sharp container collected by person responsible and kept in central store prior for incineration End User End User Clinical Waste General Worker Kualiti Alam Sdn.
