MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

Jorge Luis Borges rightly said:
"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of a Library."
Libraries are essential in the process of giving students access to knowledge,
which plays a crucial role in their holistic development. In digital times, the
Vidyalaya library link makes the books visible for reference and also gives ample
opportunities to participate in diverse activities.
It gives me immense pleasure in acknowledging the efforts of Ms. Meera Pandey,
the Librarian, who had always been active in engaging the students in reading
activities and addressing their queries online. She has also emerged as a high-
tech information professional, an adept communicator, innovator, collaborator,
and learner.
The E- Patrika on Library Activities projects that all the learning resources with
the Vidyalaya are being used judiciously to sustain and refresh the climate of
learning. This vibrant culture of sharing resources and growing together has re-
sulted in making learning communities, which strengthen the foundations of
Kendriya Vidyalaya Janakpuri every day. I wish her success in all her future en-
deavors.

Reading is essential part of everybody's life, as it change our way of
living. It is a booster dose for mind, which is necessarily to be taken
up. If a human being really wants to go ahead, he can keep himself up-
dated through latest knowledge with reading. Reading enhance every
qualities in reader.
Barack Obama, Former President of USA once said- "Reading is
the gateway skill, that makes all other learning possible."
Dear children always try to be a good reader for becoming a good
learner, narrator, Orator and communicator.
