I did some extra work for the studio. One of them was making panel
graphics for a small
WWF exhibition in Gangtok. The exhibition was about Sustainable
Architecture.
Having done a course in Sustainable Living, I know a bit about the
field. This was the first time I worked for a studio project and had long
discussions about the climate crisis with WWF Sikkim heads and the
founders of Echostream.
I have used a rat trap’s bond used in masonry for inspiration of the page
form. The point was to use A4 with a given format, so that the papers can
be stacked up after the exhibition. Then they can be recycled or formed into
a booklet for future references.
Playfair Display and Rubik are the two used fonts.

SCERT textbooks

I entered the studio during the end of one of their major projects.
More than 70 designers, educators, government officials, teachers and
illustrators have worked on the government textbooks.
The age group was first grade to third grade.
I was working with the concerned team for a month, as an associate
illustrator. I was given very little tasks, it was the finishing phase of the
project. We were working for more than sixteen hours per day. This project
was taken up by Sonam Gyaltsen. It is in the Testing phase.
The illustration is made by Harjyot Khalsa, a Graphic Designer from Symbiosis
Institute of Design, I have merely coloured it. The poem was about a fictional
Candy Land.
