Most recently, Watawala Tea Ceylon partnered with the
Diabetes Association of Sri Lanka (DASL) to promote
awareness on Diabetes to the general public as Diabetes
is on the rise in Sri Lanka. DASL created a logo with the
slogan ‘Life is sweeter with less sugar’ and it is carried
on the back of Zesta, Watawala tea and Rankahata packs.
The main aim of the project is to educate the public to use
a minimum amount of sugar in making their regular cups
of tea.
